A: The pour is a slightly hazy golden amber color with a large white head and tons of carbonation bubbles in the glass. S: The nose starts out with a nice tropical fruitiness of pineapple and mango, along with some citrus notes. However, these enjoyable aromas give way to solvent and ethanol. T: The industrial cleaner character does not translate to the flavor, thankfully. The citrus and tropical fruits do, however, and are really what this beer is about. A bready malt base with a light bitterness on the finish. Though the name of the beer leaves me wondering, where is the funk? M: A medium bodied beer with a very aggressive carbonation and perhaps a touch dry on the finish. D: I would have liked this beer more were it not for the nose. The flavors were decent enough, but the solvent aroma really does this one an injustice.

Pours bright golden orange with a thin cream head. Nice nose of tart citrus, oranges & sweet fruit with a bit of funk. Same in the flavor with a sweet finish.

Dark brown, creamy off-white head that doesn’t last long, heavy lacing. Aroma of malt and sour barnyard. Taste is a little sweet, very malty, with a little sour bite. Little bitterness. I’d like more sourness. Medium body, low carbonation.

750ml Bottle: Faint aroma of hops and grains. I wish I knew why others smelled such strong things in this, and I do not. Poured copper/amber in color with a medium to large-sized, creamy, dense, pillowy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny, and a couple of large, particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of light caramel, light hops, resin, light toasting, and a hint of cocoa. Medium body. Slightly tingly, slick, creamy, texture. Soft carbonation. Lightly sweet, slightly bitter, caramel finish. 9.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout. Pretty boring. Very little flavor or aroma. A bad bottle or something perhaps?

From a bottle poured a brown color with a good amount of head. Nice malty hoppy flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

75 cl bottle, Pours light amber colour, fairly clear, decent head, lightly bitter, overall a fresh easy drinkable beer, but nothing special imo.

Opaque orange brown pour with a thin fluffy white head. Slightly funky citrus and orange aroma. Grapefruit citrus flavor. Slightly sweet with grainy malt. Dry finish with a bit of alcohol.

Pretty much the epitome of mikkeller’s beers. A total discombobulation; a train wreck. No focus, no game plan.

"Hey, lets make a new beer"

"ok. What should we do?"

"Lets just throw some of this stuff in, and then add brett!"

"sounds great!"

Yeah, awesome.

750mL bottle. Pours a deep translucent amber with a big head. Aroma smells like a mix of herbal hops and sweet clementines and watermelon. Taste is fairly malty, maintaining the citrusy sweetness up until the finish. After a few drinks, I thought it was almost too sweet, but not quite. Then I drank half a glass, and after that it was way too sweet. Finish has some clementine peel and herbs, but then sort of falls apart into a malty mess with what makes me thing of artificial sweetener. Wierd beer.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours dull dark straw with 3-finger fluffy white head. Nose is funky yeasty with hopcitrus, somee florals, orange zest, and spice. Tastes semi-sweet, with hopcitrus, slight funky yeasty notes, and a decent delth and complexity. Well made as usual with these guys.
