oldrtybastrd (3222) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2010
Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, with a nice hop bite to it. I expected more brett action.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy dark amber color, with an off white/ Beige head. There is alot of citrus hops in the aroma, and a slight amount of pine aswell. I also get yeast, biscuits, bread and also alot of caramel. The flavour consits mostly of citrus hops, and a strong caramel malty backbone. I also get a slight amount of pine, brettanomyces funk, yeast, bready and biscuity malts. The body is light to medium, with a slight watery mouthfeel. Overall a very good Belgian Strong Ale, that would fit the fatty Danish Easter Lunch table very well!

Long fruity and fresh aftertaste of apricots and nectarines with hints of spicy yeast, lemon, zest flowers and funk. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle from Kris Wines, Lower Holloway. Amber with a medium head. Hoppy fruitiness, hints of citrus, blending with sweet caramel and biscuit. Biscuit flavours, rather sweet, leather, maybe even some smoke. Original to say the least, but a bit on the sweet side.

gunnar (6418) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle from Ølkonsortiet, probably the best beer shop in Denmark! Pours golden with a 2" white head. Strong grapefruit aroma, with some light yeast notes as well. Medium sweet taste, herbs and hops, makes it more bitter towards the end. Dry mouthfeel. Maybe a bit too offensive.
