Almost black. No head, just a few tiny bubbles. Aroma of coffee, cognac, chocolate, tar, liqourice, vanilla. Some sweetness in the taste. Roasty, some leathery notes and a little bit of alcohol. Also some bitterness. Really creamy liquid. Thick and sticky, Soft carbonation.

Black, black, black, black and black again. Oily, viscous and carrying a dark cream coloured head. The aroma of molasses, raw grapes and cider vinegar is just huge. Huge I tell you! A silky viscous mouthfeel, the beer poured like it was an oil sump being drained. This beer was every aspect of dark beer in excelsis and in ordinary circumstances ought to take an hour to drink. Wondrous.

A liquid licorice spectacular with hints of coffee and chocolate that manages to totally hide its strength. A dangerous brew - seriously dangerous.

Tiny bottle in a teku. Pours black with a small head. Aroma of roasted malts, dat yac and da barrel, a lot of dark chocolate, some notes of coffee and dark fruits, some notes of vanilla, and alcohol. Flavor the same with a very nice and complex blend, lots of roast, chocolate, and barrel. Smooth, thick texture with not a lot of carbonation, but enough. A really cool imperial stout.

Overheard: "I wear a lot of hats..." "Oh yeah? Well, we’ve seen you in a Babylon 5 and a mouse hat." "Do terrorists wear hats?"
