330 ml bottle at home. Pours pitch black with no head. incredibe green paprica and cactus leaf aroma, alcohol sting and loads of dark chocolate and grinded coffee. Viscous body, no carbonation, lots of alcohol glow, taste is greens and paprica, dry tequilla indeed. Not as balanced as other G&B variations.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with no head. Super viscous. Aromas of molasses, licorice, rich syrupy chocolate, and treacle. Flavors of rich dark cocoa powder, oily molasses, super dry roared malts and only a hint of tequila which comes across. Super as per George.

33cl bottle shared. Pitch black pour with a bubbly, dark tan head which dissipates almost immediately. Thick, oily and very little carbonation but massive mouthfeel as you would no doubt expect. Aroma is candy sweet with toffee, vanilla, chocolate and maybe a hint of oak present. Taste has almost a bourbon barrel feel to it with the huge vanilla notes and buttery richness you expect. I always find tequila (and the only other tequila BA beer I have tried - Agave Maria) to have a dry/earthy quality which this did not have. I had high hopes for this and they were exceeded. That does not happen too often.

Poors like black tar. Smsl brown head. Complex flawor of licorin, coffe, sweet vanilla, barrel and coal. Taste coffe, booze, marzipan, some dried fruit. Creamy and oily mothfeel. Very alcohol dominated. A realy recomended stout if you’re lucky to get hold of a bottle.

330ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop

Vertical with Calvados and Tequila versions - Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, tequila, wood, oak and stingy notes. Taste is smooth, stingy, roasty and woody with some dark chocolate, licorice, syrup and hints of tequila. Finish is stingy, roasty and woody with some roastiness, oak and syrup. Surprisingly good for a tequila BA beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of rich roastiness, agave, a bit of sweet fruitiness and raisins. Flavour of rich roastiness, agave, tart wooden notes, dark chocolate, a bit of warming alcohol and bread. Full bodied. Oily and smooth mouthfeel. I really love the tequila notes here. It’s quite subtle really, but it captures the whole idea quite nicely.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 23.05.2024
Vertical with cherry & calvados
Aroma has cocoa and sweet buttery tones. Also mild herbal tones and hints of soy sauce. Flavour has stinging alcohol, sweetness, some ripe fruits, phenol and sweet fruits. Also plastic glue. Alcohol is sharp here but somewhat nice slow sipper still. Sweetness disturbs a bit.

33 cl bottle.
Pours pitch black color with a small beige head. Mild barrel notes on the nose, dark berries, maybe some licorice and dark malts with faint choco, some faint dark fruits too. Flavor is sweet chocolate, dark roast, coffee and bourbon, some vegetable-kind of notes and wood. Alcohol moderately well hidden. Decent.

Pours blacker than a steer’s tookus on a moonless night, with a tight tan head. Cocoa, coffee and booze on the nose - smells incredible. Sweetish up front, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee, woody booze but it does not feel like a 15% beer. Fantastic
