Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy - virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, tequila, light alcohol, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, tequila, peppery. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finsh feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20140704]

Bottle share at Bruce’s pad. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Softish and slightly viscous palate. Rich dark malts with spicy dark chocolate. A little coffee. The Tequila integrates well with the general booziness. Mild tangy fruits. Tequila spice. Semi dry finish. Warming afterglow. Tasty.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenworth. Pours oily black with a creamy brown head. Rich dark roast nose with tons of dark fruits, brown sugar, chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavor with a bit of charred wood, burnt earth, ash, baking cocoa, thick chocolate mousse. Full bodied, dense and chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with rich dark, dried fruits, more bitter chocolate, lots of bitter scorched wood. Lingering heat. Good stuff.

Bottle. Opaque black beer with a decent beige/brownish head. Roasted chocolate aroma, vanilla, cocoa, licorice, figs, tequila notes, spicy, caramel, nuts, toffee, some soot. Chocolate flavor, cocoa, tar, quite roasted, spicy, vanilla, warming alcohol, caramel, woody, burnt, tar, some licorice. Heavy Impy, really full bodied. The best of the three George vs Brian.
