Sample at Blackback, pours black with coffee colored head, very pronounced and lasting lacing. Aromas and flavor of roasted barrel, booze, dark fruits, molasses, cocoa, and tons of complex wood. Finishes like a nice bourbon or other tasty whiskey. Medium to full in body, pretty sticky. Nice!

On tap at the Hoppy Pub , Thessaloniki. Pours deep black with a thick brown head that leaves laces on my snifter. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and alcohol. Taste is bittersweet full of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and some hints of dark fruits. Full body with low carbonation and a dry bitter aftertaste. One of the best imperial stouts, in my opinion.... Brew gem !!!

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen CBC-week. Slightly over-rated if you ask me. Hints of primarily coffee and vanilla.

So Mikkeller, so good. This pours so thick and black out of the bottle with a slight and quick vanishing head. Smells like wine, port, oak. Almost feels a bit oily on the tongue. The first taste is of a intense chocolate then coffee roast, raisins. Smooth and tasty all the way down. Hardly any bitter taste.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with minimal head. Burnt aroma, chocolate, bitter, harsh. Less smooth than the barrel aged versions. Pretty good.
