Bottle at mikkeller bar, pours a really nice tan head, jet black. The beer has a nice chocolate aroma with a good solid body, the taste is very choc/coffee, very nice body

Bottle looks a bit strange, but good. Beer in the glass deep black, very small head. Heavy-malty aroma. Starts intense malty, a bit alcoholic-fiery, intense notes of strong coffee and liquorice. Quite bitter. Finish complex, a bit too unbalanced for me. Still a good beer!

(25cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) black as night, ring of dark brown bubbles, and coats the glass like motor oil. Nose of raisin, fudge, rich, and a bit herbal. Taste of burnt chocolate, rich, raisins, thick body with a nice linger.

Draught at København Ølfestival 2010
Black color; creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, intense bread. Strong flavor, strong chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, some liquorice (more evident in the end). Straightforward, but very good.

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Pitch black opaque color, small brown head. Decent smell and taste; coffee, burned malts and dark chocolate. Nice beer but not the best stout I’ve ever tasted.

Bottle at Mikkeller bar. Huge roasty aroma with both coffee and malt in the aroma and flavour. Very smooth for the alcohol content and very smooth finish.

180ml bottle from bierkompass.de
Deep black, viscous beer with a dark brown foam. Smells of roasted coffee and a lot of chocolate, very malty, slightly sweet alcoholic. The beer starts sticky malty, roasted coffee, with plenty of toffee and chocolate and a massive malt body! The middle part is very malty and roasty with a lot of coffee, very bitter, a bit of alcohol comes through. The finish is malty with a dominant aroma of sweet roastedcoffee, slightly burning in the throat! Very interesting beer!

Stor doft av kaffe och tall. Doften påminner lite om Fra/Til. Smaken är lite speciell: mycket kaffe och choklad med mycket söta undertoner. Torr och fin munkänsla.
