I stort sett helt svart öl med ett mkt lätt brunt skum. Stora dofter av rostat kaffe och mörk choklad. I smaken tillkommer viss alkoholsötma och en rostad bitterhet.

Cloudy very dark brown color, average sized brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, herbs, wood, roasted malt. Taste is very rich and creamy. Coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, wood but also booze and warmth that goes along. Very sticky on the lips. Long sweet aftertaste. Great complex IS.

Pitch black, medium sized brown color. Great aroma of cocoa, chocolate and liquorice, too bad for alcohol presence. Taste is slightly sweet with cocoa and hints of booze, finish is great, lots of cocoa and brown sugar. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very very good. //svijetpiva

Dark black. Used motor oil. Oil sits on top. Chewy. Lots of thick sediment. Charred. Burnt toast. It’s in your face, exactly like the deScription says. Quite hoppy for an Impy Stout. Extremely dry.

Pours jet black. Aroma is very dark and lots of roasted malts, some salmiak tones. Taste is sweet and filled with dark roasted malts and coffee tones, some liquorice. No hints of the massive abv at all. To me it really feels like a great stout suited for additions of both cold brewed coffee and some barrel ageing on bourbon kegs! Got to try the bourbon barrel aged one! Bottle from SB.

Absolutely opaque black and heavy bodied beer. Aroma of dark roasted malts and some bitter chocolate. Taste starts intense with some sharp, acidic cacao and a bit of soy sauce. Aftertaste is intensely bitter and roasty. Body is extremely viscous and chewy. Alcohol is present but overall the beer is pretty easy to drink at its high ABV.

Bootle 0.33 Pours pitch black. Nice looking creamy head. Aroma is a punch of chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruits. Flavour is dark chocolate, bitter and dry with roasted note. Smooth smoked and dense chocolate malty flavoured. Bitter and dry finish. Long lasting liqourice note. Lovely beer :D

Poured from a bottle into my favorite Delirium tremens snifter the thickest most milky dark brown I have ever seen in a stout. Reminds me of muddy water but in a good way. Aroma is roasted cocoa. Flavor is oily like motor oil. Heavy dark chocolate bitter. Mild prunes. To the palate bittersweet. Caramel. Incredible smoothness almost no carbonation. Delicious
