Bottle @ home ordered from CraftShack a while back. Pours a deep black appearance with a very thin dark brown head that dissipates instantly. Somewhat smoky, char/tar, very roasty, dark chocolate aroma that is very earthy and has a bit of booze even served quite cold. Mouth feel is a bit goopy but not bad. Moderate plus sweetness and bitterness. Booze is pretty well hidden. Chocolate oatmeal cookie flavor with some ashy smoke. Smooth. Pretty fucking tasty.

Bottle from Ølbutikken Copenhagen. Black color, almost non-existing brown head. Bitter taste with coffee, chocolate, oak, bourbon, vanilla, licorice, hops and roasted malts. Bitter finish with roasted malts, vanilla, coffee and licorice. Exquisite imperial stout.

Flaske. Duft korn og malt. Fantastisk overvældende smag. Smag af kaffe, bitter, humle, lakrids, engelsk lakrids og chokolade. Brunt skum, flot dyb sort farve. Glimrende dessert øl.

heavy roasted malt, chocolate and coffee assault the senses. This one is a heavy hitter (as expected from a couple of the BA editions) though not as smooth as those...pretty damn solid. Warming but not hot.

Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, salty liquorice, tobacco, some peat. Flavour is roasty and fairly sweet with a long chocolate finish. Body is thick, mouthfeel oily. Quite good, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste. The BA versions are even better.

Bottle at home. Pour is deep, viscous black with a frothy brown head and good lacing. Roasty, leather, cocoa, espresso, somewhat tangy, light smoke, and grassy hops on the aroma. Taste is rich and thick cocoa, some toasted malt, light coconut, leather, espresso, earthy, and grapey with a thick bitter chocolate finish. Thick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Rich decadent and high boost. Nice stuff.

Bottle, tasting at Appellation Wines. Black body with a tan head. Light lacing. Boozy aroma of vanilla, wood and dark chocolate. Flavour of oak, rich chocolate cake and vanilla. Medium body with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation prickle. Rich, but very drinkable for the strength.

Bottle. Totally black with a quickly diminishing dark head. The aroma is dense roasted malt, and a distinct coffee quality. The flavour is a classic full mikkeller stout, intense, with lots of dark bitter chocolate and hard roasted malts, some licorice, alcohol.
