Double Craftissimo day. Watery opaque cola-black, thin tan head. Smells of lots and lots of coffee, deeply bitter to the point of being minty, chocolate, florals, a tiny bit of anise and soy sauce, spicy grassy herb. Taste is burnt coffee, bitter, spiced and a bit sharp/salty. Body is bitter, acidic, a little sharp and flat. Really like how much bitterness and coffee this has - every aspect of it is bold - but a bit sharp.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home. Double Craftissimo day. Thick black pour, minimal dark tan head. Aroma is big black coffee with burnt sugar and leather. Nice. Taste is a bit salty, slightly, followed by deep and acidic coffee bitterness. Very big and very boozy. Lingering tart coffee - like the finish of a really acidic espresso. Big coffee stout but in a different type of coffee way. Brighter and more acidic. Really good.

Day 19 of Julepakkekalender from Mikkeller. Bottled.

Aroma: Dark chocolate. Ginger. Slight roast coffee beans. Caramel.
Appearance: Pours a tar colour, with an almost non-existent caramel head.
Taste: Treacle, with a bitter hit of coffee.
Palate: Sweet upfront, with a big hit of bitterness. Very oily mouthfeel. Full body. Barely any carbonation.
Overall: Not my kind of thing at all. Very sickly sweet, with a big bitter kick to it. I’m a fan of blonde ales, and this hasn’t convinced me to change that any time soon.

Black, glints of warm brown at the edges, 1mm of medium-brown, medium-fine head that reduces to a film. Aroma is cold-pressed coffee syrup, hazelnut, brown sugar, candy, touch of pear and chili. Body is thick-medium-thick, syrupy, somewhat oily, light carbonation, medium-light burn. Flavor is huge hazelnut sugar syrup, butterscotch, cold-pressed coffee, some sap and considerable candy. Delicious!!!!
