0,25l bottle as gift from Denmark. Opaque, black color with medium, creamy, dark brown head, which disappears quickly. Sweet, alcoholly odor followed by roasty, smoked malt flavours. The aroma is incredibly smoky and roasty. At the beginning itís sweet and caramelly, but after the firs impressions itís dry and tastes like a roast pork. Itís definitelly made with a lot of smoked malt, which causes this meet flavour. It must had a lot of chocolate malt too which makes the color so black, but it doesnít make the beer sour and bitter. Alcohol and honey flavours also appears. Dry, intensive and complex taste, nothing can dominate, but all the three basic flavours (sweet, sour, bitter) appears. Full bodied with oily texture and light carbonation. Roast pork finish. Itís an interesting beer. Surprisingly complex, incredibly oily and full bodied. This beer is dominated by the malty flavours, and from this view itís the opposite of the Mikkeller Black Hole, which is a "hoppy imperial stout". Itís a concentrated beer, 25cl is totally enough. The alcohol content isnít too high, and it canít be felt as dominant in the aroma. The texture, the body, and the malty flavours make this beer this rich and concentrated.

Le Brewdog Leeds Thick opaque brown ran ringed head and a wee effection of brown film. Rich Soily vanilla and a little boozy as you lift to sip. Slips down so easily the other end. Edgey sweetness, the slightest balsamic grip and steely malt and almost tart middle. Really wholesome. Creamy and a little less viscous than in bottle, despite the warming up effort off Keg. Finishes creamy coconut vanilla then an Elbow greased bittering burn. Yeow. Linger is lush, green malt and the Darkest choc malt spice. Keg, Brewdog Leeds.

Pitch blach, thick and sticky, beige head. Roasted aroma and taste of coffee, bitter chocolate, some dark fruit. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice low-medium carbonation that fits the beer perfectly. Could have been more complex - still a bloody good beer though.

Very black. Brown head. Lots of roasted almost coffee like flavours. A bit too overpowering for my taste. Medium body.

33 cl bottle from... Pothole / Koht most probably (around close to or above Ä 5 I think). BB Oct 2023 - I dare not wait. Pours a viscous dark brown with little tan head that dropped fast (poured into a cognac glass). Nose is thick, chocolaty, alcoholic, brandy-like, some dried plums, plus coffee... Not as multilayered as, say, Foundersí Breakfast Stout I had earlier. Taste is just infuckingcredible... humongous thickness carrying the impressive ABV very well, huge bitterness on the other hand enhancing the alcoholic tingle, massive chocolaty and coffee-like sensations, kind of salty even. Sticky texture and full body, a lovely smooth, soft and full palate with very little carbonation.

I havenít had many beers as good as this. Llllll-ove it! Perfect dessert beer to sip for couple hours.

Bottle at home just now. Black with a Reddish Tan head. Looks damn fine. A massive imperial stout. Humming of roast malt and booze. Chocolatey full body. Ashy bitterness and a full foamy texture. Puts a sheen in your cheeks after only a few sips. A beer too spend a bit of time on. Absolutely delicious.

Great stout! Bottle 330. Deep dark colour, good lacing. Roasted malty aroma with a hint of chocolate and vanilla. Smooth smoked flavour of dark chocolate, dried fruits and coffee. Also barely perceptible alcohol in finish.
