3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Firm palate with tight hops and medium strength bitterness and hints of dry tropical fruits. Hard to see the brett influences but there’s a broadness late in the palate with a small layer of funk. I love the firmness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On top of the cap, reads "20/05/17" (guessing a best by date?). Bottom right corner of the bottle says 11.2 fl oz (only mentioning because I see in the notes, I’m supposed to check before reviewing.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-golden yellow color with a light carbonation seen rising at a moderate pace. Sticky foamy lacing roamed around the glass nicely.
The smell has some sweet and bitter pine blending nicely. Some sour lemon rind rides underneath nicely. Brett is mostly tame.
The taste was sticky sweet with a nice dry bitterness strolling along my taste buds. The aftertaste was moderately sticky with a subtle sour to bitter citrus rind blending in.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body. The brett is tame enough to allow a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good to allow the wheat to be a decent base around it.
Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good American IPA with brett in it. I’d have this again.

Overall - slightly unorthodox but pretty well balanced.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass, purchased from International Beer Shop, Perth.
Pours a light golden colour, highly carbonated, with a large white frothy head. Initial aromas are lightly sweet and funky, with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavours are light, with balance of subtle malt base and citrus sweetness. Initial bittersweet and funky grass and wheat notes mellow quickly into a mild dry bitterness. Light and pleasant with a surprising depth of flavour for those who look for it.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(330ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Oct 1 2015) Pours a hazy gold with a moderate white head and lace. The nose is fruity and tart, with a dusty sort of yeasty undertone. Notes of apricot, tangerine, kumquat, grapefruit, mango and light pine. Taste has that typical Brett IPA tartness with apricot, mandarin peel, pine needles and unripe mango. A bit of sweet clean pale malt. From the middle through the finish it becomes quite apricot heavy with tart fruit and bitter skin, as well as a bit of pine and resin. Moderately bitter with the tart, very lightly funky finish I associate with all-Brett IPAs. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nothing revelatory here but it’s a solid, fresh and fruity all-Brett IPA, flavourful and refreshing.

On tap at bundobust leeds, it was the perfect drink to go with their street style Indian food, funk from the yeast, and a well balanced flavour.
