UPDATED: JUL 5, 2015 [10/20/13] Draught at Birra + in Rome. Clear golden. Aroma of wheat, fruitiness, some earth, mild funk, floral notes and citric hops. Flavor is a bit sweetish and wheaty, fruity, with funky touch, a bit earthy, and citric and floral hops with mild bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Overall very nice, very tasty, great Brett funk, hops blend nicely with it without overpowering adding nice floral, grassy, lemony and bit citrus hops, and the wheat adds subtlties to the underlying beer, without being too drowned out. mikkeller makes some great beers, just wish they weren’t so expensive.

11.2 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a pale, translucent gold with a big, fluffy white head of foam. Good retention. The aroma is dry, grassy, and floral. Some funk creaps into the picture, but it is faint. The taste is floral and sweet with a drying bitterness rounding things out. Fizzy mouthfeel. Lots going on here. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at Max’s Taphouse.
Appearance: Cloudy pale golden wit a dense white head. This looks excellent.
Aroma: Sweet orange and lots of lemon, slightly tart with mild barnyard funk.
Taste: Nice balanced of bitter orange and tart lemon with crisp straw and a mild funk.
Palate: Crisp light body, highly carbonated.
Overall: Very nice balance of styles, great Brett presence. Excellent beer.

Bottle poured into snifter. Clear yellow with a great white foamy head. Light aroma overall with sweetness and hops showing through. Great lighter taste with solid hop presence. I could drink this forever and enjoy it every time.

On tap, rated from backlog. Slightly hazy yellow colored with medium white head. Aroma has citrus, tangerine, wheat notes and peach. Taste is dry and a bit soapy; lemon and other citrus notes with some yeast and wheat.

My Mikkeller beers are few and far between nowadays as I am so much more distant than I once was. But by Jove that ticks me off. When I opened a bottle of this I never wanted anything else for the rest of the summer. His mastery of Brett is so wonderful, so delicate, that I fall in live with his works over again every time. This beer has a marvelously playful mixture of funk and fruit. A smooth body and bready finish.
