Bottle, shared during our epic night at MicroBar in Reykjavik, with Arnie and Stein. Bright hazy yellow body with a creamy, non-stop head. Beautiful wheat and hop and funk marriage, fresh pineapple, gooseberry, a little cat pee even. Insanely drinkable! Like a hopfenweisse mmmmmmm!

Pilsnerfärgad med mellanstort ljust skum. Genomskinlig och doftar lite vete och citrus och brettanomyc och urin!?? Smakar veteöl, friskt av citrus och jäst!

12 oz. bottle. It pours a very pale yellow color, highly carbed with a small lasting white head. The aroma is subtle and pleasant with citrus and florals accented by some pineapple and hay from the brett. The flavor is really good with more pineapple, florals, hay, crackers, minor citrus acidity and a funky, floral bitter finish. Not really phenolic at all, just funky fruity and floral. Good effervescent, refreshing body. I really liked this one.

bottle. nose is downright foul. oh, guess I should read. I had no idea there was brett in this beer. ok, so, yeah, nice barnyard character. Taste is very refreshing and not nearly as sour as I expected. Upon second sip, this is damn tasty I approve

24/III/14 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 20/XI/15 (2014-307)

Clear blond beer, big irregular white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: citrus, bit piny, pineapple, passion fruits, mango, sweet and fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity, lots of citrus, pineapple, bit piny, grapefruit, little sour. Aftertaste: more citrus, lime and lemon, sour notes. Didn’t know it was a brett beer until I entered my review. Maybe that’s a good thing, means it’s been done subtle and well balanced. Or maybe it means I’m a phoney who can’t tell an IPA from a sour. Or maybe I’m just a drunken hobo trying to score whatever stills my hop addiction. Who will tell?

Pours clear yellow with a large white head. The aroma has lots of delicate floral / perfumy hops along with spice, mild citrus and a hint of bready malts in the back. It has a medium body that is fairly crisp and has a good amount of carbonation. The flavor starts off with the perfume / floral / smooth citrus hops for the aroma. There is a heavy pepper presence and a touch of malt sweetness. The finish has more spice, fresh cut grass and a bit of sulfur. Really nicely made IPA.
