Bottle, 375cl. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a dense, two-finger light beige head. Nice curtains. Some caramel in the aroma, but itís mostly citrusy, piney hops and with a nice impact from the wine and brett. Itís quite vinous, some oak, leather and farmhouse chimes in. Some sweetness in the flavor, a touch of citric acid, leather, farmhouse and white wine. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Pleasant bitter finish wih sourness and pine cones. A nice blend indeed. 140418

mcberko (5372) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 12, 2014
UPDATED: APR 13, 2014 375mL bottle, pours a dirty rusted amber brown with a large beige head. Nose brings out lots of brett, a little white wine barrels, some metallic notes, and some dry bready malt. Flavour is unusual, bringing out metallic fruits, brett, oak and a touch of white wine. The latter three elements are all welcome, thought the metallic dark malts are a strange component. Finishes bretty and earthy. Interesting one.

375 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany colour with moderate head. Aromas of brett and vinegar, with toasted malts. Pretty much the same flavor but with additional vinous notes and good malt base. Good balance for a sour. Tasty.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours translucent copper with a slight foamy beige head. Light wine and oak aromas. Med minus body. Flavor is very grape - not red grape - with a little light stone fruit. Rather lightly earthy/bretty aspects. Finishes earthy/bretty, and clearly towards sour. Rather refined and delicate.

Darkish brown. Is this an IPA? Sour coffeeish aroma maybe some cherry in there. Taste not as sour as the Aroma, hitting more cherry, light malt vinegar. Canít really hit any of the oak or wine. Okish brew, nothing bad, nothing memorable. Now back to the violence which is the UFC.
