Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Bottle. A straight forward delicious west coast IPA. Loads of American hops. Nice citrus tones with some complementary hints of peach and resin. Medium body and a dry finish.

Colore ambrato, schiuma cremosa. Ottima.

Can from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Aromas of pine, more pine, some citrus, orange. Taste is great citrus, malty backbone. Not too bitter on the finish. Very well balanced. Would love to try this on tap.

0.33L bottle. Fresh citrus and light hop aroma. Brownish-amber color, fat creamy foam on top, stays. Good IPA. Nicely balanced bitterness and fresh citrus fruits going smoothly dirty trash vegetable flavour. Crazy bitterness is missing, but still good. Veggie and lemon peel aftertaste.

Tap @ Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Aroma of caramel, pine, citrus. Clear brown amber with tiny off-white head, none lasting. Moderate+ bitterness, moderate sweetness. Medium body, oily texture, dry feel too, average carbonation, long bitter finish.

Pours a slight hazy amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and thick foamy lacing. This is the smell of IPA I do not really like. Deep green grass over caramel with some dark fruit notes. The taste is better with some nice bitterness from the grass with less of the dark fruits which is what does not blend well. Bitterness lingers over mild malt. I prefer the flavours of this one than the aromas. Good points, but not one I would have again.

Brew_Cat (55) - Athens, GREECE - MAY 22, 2015
Bottle @Pulp Pub, 17/5/2015. Pours large creamy off-white head, dark amber color, lightly cloudy medium to full body. Excellent aromas floating and revealing as time passes by. Average malt character, caramel, molasses, roasted brown sugar. Average hop character, herbs, pine, citrus, grapefruit. Great notes of plum, prune, licorice, raisins and pineapple, reminded me of barrel-aged brandy or sweet wine. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness, lively carbonation, very well balanced, super enjoyable! Was a great pairing with spicy sausage variety.
