Bottle. Had this several times. Cant figure out why I never rated it! Its hazy amber with a creamy dense forever lasting off white head. The aroma is heavy piney, peach, grass, caramel and some biscuit. The flavour is grapefruity, heavy piney, grass, citrus, peach and spruce. A good caramel background is backing up very nicely. Awesome grassy IPA.

bottle - hazy orange amber beer with a beige white head. Nice citrus and orange hops aroma! Flavour has a nice maltiness which balances the bitterness and alcohol. Medium carbonation.

[bottle from bierkompass.de]
Potent, sweet grapefruit aroma with a healthy dose of caramel and a faint strawberry note. Hazy red-orange-brown with a lasting, white ring and some patches. Nice spicy caramel flavour that is dominated but not completely overwhelmed by strong, bitter grapefruit and pine hops. Strawberry and apricot notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter finish, but balanced by sweet.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a very deep oppper colour with wondefully creamy slight;ly off white head. Look beautiful in the glass. Aromas are dominated by hops with heaps of citrus and pine. Some malt sweetness and caramel but basically its all about the hops. Flavours shouw more malt and caramel but it is still pretty much all about the hops. Quite bitter on the end but not quite as bitter as I would have thought. Very resiny finish. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Really like this one.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 Bottle from Skjold Burne, Frederikssundsvej.
Appearance is a mix of colours: Brown, red, yellow beer, hazy with a yellow head that dissapears faster than the head on Mikkeller’s beers usually does. Aroma is hops, hops and even more hops. Flowery, tobacco, caramel and malt sweetness. Flavor is flowery hops, caramel, light tobacco, other hops and a mix of malts. Very complex, excellent. Overwhelmingly hopped finish. Thick, easily creamy beer.
