Hop explosion that tastes really good!
So again, the lovely taste must be from the simcoe and cascade hop. Maybe I need to realize that those two hops with the not so good amarillo makes a good blend?

Truly world-class. It’s definitely got the 3C hops for that west-coast kick, but something subtely Belgian in profile. Pours very cloudy, great head retention, aroma that never stops, and drinks with the very best IPAs. Well worth the $7 for a 11.2oz bottle.

Lovely orange color. Big head, everlasting retention. Smells like hops, hops and more hops. Lots of citrus, specially grapefruit. Tastes like biting a grapefruit peel. Some sweetness and spicyness in the backbone. Nicely balanced. Liked it very much. Great IPA

33cl bottle from Bierkompass. BB 01/13. Poured hazy, orange with a smooth, creamy beige head. Aroma is tropical fruits, hoppy, with some sweet lactose in the nose as well. Very smooth, oily palate. Flavor is hops, citrus, apricot and malt. Long bitter fruity finish. Incredible IPA, smooth and very drinkable.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and very hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is medium sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. Very raw bitterness but the malts create some sort of balance. 080510

Pours out a very hazy orange, almost burnished gold, with a great off white creamy head with long lasting retention. Aroma is lots of hops, but with a distinctive spicy charaacter, reminds me of ginger with a touch of turmeric. There’s lots of orange with a touch of cloves, almost a bit christmasy in the background, citrus peel, cut grass and cat pee. Behind that there’s a biscuity caramel aroma from the malts. Flavour comes on quite balanced then seperates into earthy, dry perfumed hops with strong floral notes, grapefruit, almost a sourness and sweet honey, caramel and spicy malts. There’s more ginger and almost a prickeliness on the tongue from the beer. There’s a very recognisable Danish character here of an almost treacle/liquorice toffee blending with the hops. The beer finishes with a long perfumed hoppy flavour with more citrus peel, earth and an almost lavendar floralness. Lovely beer, very drinkable. Great on a summers day.

Wow! Had some mikkeller before but this is the best one so far. Lovely hoppy nose. Translates well to the mouth. Lots of bitterness but also aromatic (late) hops. Some sweet malt is evident as well. Love it.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep amber with classic mikkeller creamy white thick head. The nose is bloody lovely, just up my street, really aromatic without being too overpowering. Lovely complex smells, you just keep getting a whiff of something else each time you sniff, lovely sweet melon, grapefruit, lemon zest, a nice floral note, some light resin, bang on. The palate is full and smooth, spot on conditioining & great flavours. Tons of sweet malty biscuit with real zesty lemon & grapefruit coming through on the juicy bitter finish. Great beer, this ones all about that sublime nose for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, mybrewerytap.com. Pours quite thickly, with a firm white head, appearance is a hazy reddy-brown. Aroma is fresh, but reasonably subdued, with an alcoholic caramel nose and taste. Bitterness towards the back of the mouth, but sweet, faint melon on the tongue. Great finish and aftertaste, rich and fairly satisfying.
