3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big beige head. Deep reddish amber body. Deep tropical fruit and mango and citrus aroma with gingery grassy notes. Wonderfully vivid and harmonic. Dry-sweetish gingery tropical fruit and resin taste with mango notes. Fullish body. Sharpish, faintly hot mouthfeel. Bitter-sweet wooden pine needle aftertaste with spicy chalky notes. Lovely. Wonderful sweet/bitter balance, fullness of body, and incredible hop aroma. (0.33l bottle, Høkeren, Copenhagen.)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
11.2 ounce bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar ($6.19). Pours a murky dark orange approaching red. The two fingers of light beige head have good retention. Aroma of hops: flowers, grass, and soap, with somewhat lighter notes of citrus and pine. Flavor is fresh and earthy hops -- somewhat reminiscent of a wet hop or harvest IPA, though I’m guessing they did not get the super fresh American hops all the way to Denmark. Not overly bitter in taste and with a solid malt profile. Finish is smooth and lightly bitter. (175, 314)

330ml Bottle: Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, and pine. Poured dark amber/orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, tan/beige head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is heavily bitter and slightly sweet. Tastes of pine, hops, caramel malt, light citrus, and more fresh hops. Medium body. Slick, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Hop, pine, citrus, and caramel malt finish. Very well balanced.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
66 cl bottle, pours amber with a minor head, nice hoppy aroma of grass and citrus with a hint of malt, taste is a bit sweet at first then a decent bitterness sets in .
It is both light drinkable and very enjoyable at the same time, in short a perfect beer for the summer imo.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Medium statured offwhite head, retention is good as is the lace. Hazy copper hued brew. Nose is loaded with plenty of pine and citrus, mildly earthy too boot.Slight toasty malts in the background. Body is med/full, a touch carbonated, nice oily and resiny notes, juicey. Lotsa hop flavor, pine citrus, some bubblegum, pineapple, juicey tropical notes. Nice lingering bitter finish, fat and resiny. I dont understand why some guys from Denmark can brew a, to me, more cali style brew than some folks from the east coast of the USA? Go figure!? Props to ya Mikkeller!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a luminescent, hazy, reddish amber colour, with some creamy, slightly tanned head that laces quite nicely. Aroma is of pine, grass, lemon and peaches, with a nice, floral-hop conclusion. Taste of caramel malt, dry pine, lemon and peach as well. Finishes off nicely with a heavy, yet balanced hop-finish. Very well-rounded and pleasant. Quite fresh and lively, despite a relatively light carbonation. Light body (although expanding a little as the hops kick in), thin, slightly oily texture. Long, hoppy, duration. Excellent and refreshing IPA.
