COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Ivory colored head with a golden orange body. Superbly fruty and hoppy aroma of pineapple and pine needle. A perfect combination! I also detect some raisins, apricot and licorice. Dry and bitter finish wich leaves you with a satisfying moutfeel also in the aftertaste. Great danish IPA.

Hazy brown body with 2-finger off white head. Lots of resin and hops, but sweet malts are also coming through that pine forest in an elegant way. Roasted malts, citric hops, a great herbal polka, small liquorice, mint, anise, plum peel. Good body, slightly rubbery, alright carbonation. Finishes with roasted malts, resin, hops, apple peel, grapefruit juice, dark chocolate, lingering. Overall quite tasty. - Brown 330ml bottle abv7% BBf11/09/15 b@Vinmonopolet Tromsø T@home.

Fat på The Flying Scotsman. Grumlig mörk bärnsten, ganska låg krona. Doftar fint men rätt svagt av humlen och grape. Smakar mycket fint av citrustoner. Kraftig bra beska dröjer sig kvar.

Pours a murky, amber-brown, burnt caramel and hop nose, flavors of bitter malt, hay, ... interesting beer but not typical for an IPA-- very little hop character-- maybe the bottle is old? Not a fan.

Den er sød i starten og går derefter over i en lille bitter eftersmag. This is ny first rated beer, it was very good.

Bottle 33cl kindly shared with Dominique. A clear amber beer with medium head. Nose is malty with caramel touch, vienna and munich malt, light grapefruit and massepin. Toasted and crisp, green vegetable, deep bitterness at the finish.

Aroma: fruity, citrus, some hay, grassy floral notes. Appearance: hazy dark brown, small white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: amazing play between bitter and sweet, fruits, floral notes. Overall: wicked IPA, massive palate. Pint at Euston Tap, London.

Draught at the Euston Tap, London on 28 March 2014. Poured a cloudy orange with a dense, white head. Aroma of fresh hops, caramel and gooseberry. Sweet malty flavours; toffee, sponge cake and some grassy hop bitterness. Finish was pine needles, aniseed earthy dryness.

Really shocked I’ve not rated this yet. Murky vibrant orange, eggshell ringed thick head. Big US malt sweetness on the nose, firmly hoppy but little else. Initial taste of syruppy hop sweetness, rich and nutty like a bowl of Crunchy Nut left on the windowsill until you get home from work. Thick malty sweetness, creamy burn cooling edge in the middle reaffirms this. Peppery, perfumed vibe laminates the full mouthfeel. Harmonious hop finish and a fading malt sweetness on the peppery linger.
