COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Not what I was expecting. An okay pale ale, but nothing about this really stands out for me. The hops are pungent enough. It just lacks the crisp finish I’d want, not to mention the burst of flavor on the tongue or lasting hoppiness I’d prefer in an IPA. The flavor is lasting, but only as bitterness.

Very slightly hazy, red-to-burnt amber colour, decent sized, off-white head. Big aroma of bubblegum and skunky, floral hops. Flavour is sweet with a long bitter finish. Texture is oily-thick, light carbonation. Good beer.

Intense aroma full of fruits. Almost so much it’s getting sweaty. Perfect deep copper appearance with long, sturdy foams. Textbook like, strong taste is full of fruits. Long lasting, not so dry taste. Perfect, a bit thicker palate with adequate carbonation concerning the awesome taste.

[5/2/13] Draught at Mikkeler & Friends in Copenhagen. Clear deep amber with a beige head. Citric and floral hops aroma. Bitter flavor, hoppy, floral, grapefruity and slightly piney with a bit of malt with caramel hints. Medium-bodied.

I would have guessed this as a red or amber ale by smell and appearance, and, for the first 1/2 glass, taste as well. Smell is very sweet caramel malts, xmas cake, dark fruit. Taste is same finishing with big bitterness and hints of oranges and grapefruit. Alcohol a little to separate on the finish. Good beer.

Bought as Green Easter. Cigar smoke, sherbet, dying flowers, a touch of ear wax, bitter floral finish. Boozy but in a good way. Cut well on the end with the bitterness. SO much better than the Lovibonds 69 IPA @7% i had earlier.

Bottle@home. Small head. Amber and very hazy. Intens sweet red grapefruit blendes with apricot and pearch. Medium body with heavy bitterness in the finish. Great hoppy brew. Just my kind of game. Don't be shy with the dryhopping.

Bottle. Two finger foam. Amber haze. Green grass blended with grapefruite and elderberry aromas. The bitter hops really rules this brew. Its complex with a long bitter dry finish. What happend to my sweet taste buds. They were whipped out.
