COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

Tap at Brewdog Newcastle. Deep amber-brown colour with a pleasantly solid head. Rich pungent nose which leads well into the mixture of bitter, fruity and almost caramel-like flavours that hit you once you begin your supping.

Can / Mother Kellys / Bethnal Green / £4.88. The beer is a murky dark brown with a decent fluffy off white head that lasts. Aroma is more sweet caramel malt than hops, smells a little bread like too. The taste is great, really nice caramel malt and gutsy hop flavour. Not too dry, not too bitter. I rate this beer

Can at Øl&Brød. Pours a pretty dark, semiclear amber with a big, off white head. Aroma has lots of hops, big malt back bone, slight caramel. Taste is fruity and sweet malty with a big bitter hoppy finish. Oily body, average carbonation.

Ging so.

Sampled at Craft Beer Day in REWE in Dortmund. The beer has got a hazy amber-orange colour with a steady head and smooth body. Aroma of hops, pine and flowers. Taste of intense hops, orange zest, thyme, flowers, citrus fruits, woods, mild herbs and light malt. Dry-bitter finish. Highly quaffable and enjoyable.

Drank with Bram 29-04-2015 (while watching house of cards). Fine beer. A bit bitter, but the hops are definitely there. Okay :)

Appearance: pours with a medium tan head that settles into a nice density, the beer is a slightly hazy golden amber color Aroma: caramel malt, citrus, bread Taste: caramel malt, medium bitterness, alcohol, Palate: lively carbonation, medium mouthfeel, alcohol and bitter aftertaste Overall: a bit of a let down after reading the reviews but still decent, too much alcohol on the flavor, has a dominating alcohol aspect to it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Brown Body with off white head. Aroma is pines caramel almonds and hints of fruits. Taste is also caramel with biscuits and hints of honey. Aftertaste is perfect balanced malty sweetness with hoppy bitterness. One of the more pine and malts IPAs. Very nice one.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Keg in Nottingham?s Brewdog. Expected to get something much better. Quite sharp nose and taste, a bit too sweet for my taste. The appearance (redish, dark copper colour) and a sense of alcohol requires improvement. I would classified it as a Belgian strong ale or barley wine- far away from ipa.
