Pours a cloudy amber with a big frothy, foamy beige head. Aroma contains caramel malts, sugar, grapefruit, cherry, floral hops, and soft pine. Its a very nice blend. The taste doesn’t really have much of that caramel malt, although its still present. Instead, the floral notes and pine are much more apparent. It has a pretty good hoppy bite. But since the floral hops are so abundant, this feels like a "cleaner" or more fresh IPA. Aftertaste is this combination of hops and pine. Medium in body with a sticky texture. This one is quite different for this style and its good. Although I think I enjoy your more standard versions more.

Drank with Bram 29-04-2015 (while watching house of cards). Fine beer. A bit bitter, but the hops are definitely there. Okay :)

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: pours with a medium tan head that settles into a nice density, the beer is a slightly hazy golden amber color
Aroma: caramel malt, citrus, bread
Taste: caramel malt, medium bitterness, alcohol,
Palate: lively carbonation, medium mouthfeel, alcohol and bitter aftertaste
Overall: a bit of a let down after reading the reviews but still decent, too much alcohol on the flavor, has a dominating alcohol aspect to it

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2015 Keg in Nottingham?s Brewdog. Expected to get something much better. Quite sharp nose and taste, a bit too sweet for my taste. The appearance (redish, dark copper colour) and a sense of alcohol requires improvement. I would classified it as a Belgian strong ale or barley wine- far away from ipa.

22.10.2014. Quite dark reddish brownish colour with light brown head. Very nice aroma with different hops, pine, grapefruit. Very nice balance in taste between hops and sweetness. There are familiar hop tastes, not sure if its simcoe or amarillo (both in this along with cascade). Proper malty backbone.
