COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Beer Ritz Leeds. Hazy amber apricot colour. Heavy caramel hop aroma, mingling sweetness with an almost mint-like hoppiness. More subdued than expected, honey and resin with a floral finish.

Coppery reddish-brown beer with nice head. Aroma has exotic fruits. The body is thick and caramelly sweet. The finish has mostly bitterness instead of fruit aromas. Almost like a DIPA with a little less ABV.

Orangefärgad öl med ett tjockt vitt skum. Doft av tallbarr, citrusfrukter och lite karamell. Samma återkommer i smaken. En bra blandning mellan humlebeska och maltsötma. En bra IPA från Mikkeller.

2013 bottle at Rasmus, 10/6 2013. Deep orange/red, big light brown head. Some lacing. Aroma, hops, grapefruit, piney, malty sweetness, love it. Taste hoppy grapefruit piney, little bit sweet in the middle, bitter aftertaste. Great mouth feel. It is better on tap tho. But i love it.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2013 33cl bottle. Orange pour, thick white head. Loads of sappy pine, grapefruit and blood orange in the aroma with some caramel too. Big astringent pine resin note initially in the taste, thick caramel and pithy grapefruit follow. Lots of mentholly spruce. Very herbaceous. Harsh bitterness and caramel sweetness finish it off - big clash. This hits hard, but the bottle i drank didn’t exhibit any kind of subtlety or nuance in my mind. Still enjoyed it though! *** update: had another couple of bottles over past week or so - getting into the deep sprucy pine notes more and more - upping the rating a bit ***

Bottle, sold as Green Easter. Pours a dark hazy, burnt copper with coarse light khaki head. Settles in minutes with thin lacing. Aroma is hoppy, piney, quite resinous, floral, and mildly soapy. Flavor is mildly hoppy up front, building mildly, resinous hops, strong citrus, bitter, piney with a mildly oily, bitter finish. Soft carbonation. medium body, and smooth texture, mildly oily finish. An intense, resinous, citrus IPA.

Powerful hop and soap aroma. Flavour follows with bags of piney hops a little soap and mouth puckering bitterness. Smooth palate with light carbonation and a lasting beige head. Great stuff.

Picked up a bottle at Brew Dog. Pours a very dark and cloudy reddish brown. Strong but to-the-point aroma of fresh grass and hops. Medium to heavy bitterness, with a long finish. Really nice. Doesn’t taste as strong as it is.

Gold body, no head, aroma: soapy, malty, hoppy, weird. Flavour; bitter as hell, some maltiness, odd.
