330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Piney aromatic hop aroma. Sticky palate, if I were charitable I’d limit that to "smooth", but it goes beyond that, it’s actually sticky with the residual sugars. A dull hoppy beer - yet another "tikkeller". Pleasant earthy finish. Nothing actually wrong with it apart from the stickiness. Did cover the alcohol quite well. I guess I can find pine in the hops, but where did the ginger go?!?

JorisPPattyn (7306) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 3, 2011
Towering, very fine and dense yellowish head, long-lasting over hazy, well-carbonated orange beer. Grapey USA-hops dominating the nsoe; citrus and exotic fruit. Very bitter-hoppy & fruity flavour with citruspeel, citrusmarmalade, grapefruit. Even hint at (citrus)sour; long-lasting flavours. Very spritzily carbonated; medium bodied. Aftertaste is wry, astringently bitter. Very outspoken bitter IPA with and extra dimension.

Sammy (7035) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 21, 2012
Aromatic and Substantive hoppiness buffered by spice, ginger. Bitterness from pine needles. Xmas tasted-out, and so drinkability is just Ok. Still a decent and complex beer. Above average mouthfeel. Foamy head and lace.

Hazed orange pour with a white head. Sweet citrus, orange, and caramel malts. A lot of pine, plenty of ginger, and a hint of grapefruit. A bit of bread, spice, and toast, too. Tastes pretty sweet and malty. A lot of bread, toast, and caramel. Candied orange peel, citrus, and pine notes. Some nice ginger qualities, spice, and floral hops.

Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 30, 2012
750mL bottle. Poured medium golden with a tall, sticky white head. The aroma picked up a hefty dose of grapefruit and pine needles over lighter fruits and crusty bread.. some ginger too.. enjoyed it. The flavor found bright, resiny pine and grapefruit again over pale and bready malts.. ginger showed up more toward the finish.. just a little oxidation evident.. tasty bitterness on the lightly tacky finish. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. bitter, but well-balanced.. good one, but it’s hard to pay $15 for an IPA.

gnoff (6320) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - OCT 30, 2012
Draught at Ölrepubliken on October 29, 2012
During the tap take over from Mikkeller and To Øl.
Slight bit hazy golden color, creamy off-white to yellow head. Very hoppy, floral, citrus, pine, US hops, sweet, caramel, touch of alcohol taste. Bitter and sort of spicy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
Nice and sweet, mmm.
Sweet, hoppy, spicy scent.
Taste is awesome, a bit less aBV and I could drink many of this in a row.
Don’t feel any ginger, but then I’ve noticed in the past that I don’t seem to pick up on ginger in beer.
