3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - golden with a very large head.
Nose - light spice and yeast. Light peach fruit coming through.
Taste - peaches going into mandarins or apricots.
Palate - medium bodied with an effervescent texture. Refreshing but not really doing a lot overall.
Overall - it has some elements that make me think of a Saison and I’m not really sure what the fruit in this is. It begins some sort of journey but I’m not really sure where it goes.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
13th November 2013
Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Thanks to Josh for this one. Lightly hazy gold beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Airy soft palate with light fine carbonation. Dry. Pear drops! Dry malt. Light sweetness. Dry finish. A fresh air beer and something of a non entity.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle care of Josh. It pours hazy golden with a thick white head. The nose is sweet, candy, sugary fruit, parma violets, icing sugar, apple and pear-drops. The taste is crisp, doughy, sweet, icing sugar, mild bitterness, grass, pear drops, apple and some alcohol. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Too sweet for my tastes. So-so.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2013 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Hazy golden pour with a small white film on top. Sweet, biscuit, toffee and very yeast driven nose. Doughy, light pear and green apple skin as it opens up. Taste reminds me of a straight forward Belgian blonde. Only the faintest hint of fruit, that being pear and very light apple but nothing substantial enough to set it apart from anything. Sweet as well. Boring

Ok for style but nothing I’d be dashing back for more of!

330ml bottle form Brewdog online shop. Hazy yellow with big white head, high carbonation. Sour fruit aromas, and yeast, faint sweetness. Taste has more sugar-sweet and gooseberry sour. Thin and dry on the finish. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Lively light pour, straw colour, acid fruit juice nose. Spritzy, fresh gooseberry and lemon, tartness and very slight funk. Citric finish. Like a junior version of Nelson Sauvignon
