English: At Mikkeller we believe that it is among the inventive amateurs that the wildest beers are being brewed and it is precisely those brewers that we like to work with. That is why we have a competition each year to test who can brew the most intense hop bomb. This year, Søren Davids won that competition.
This beer is brewed as a collaboration between Søren Davids and Mikkeller.

50 cl bottle @ home. Orange/copper hazy color, off white head, good lacing. Aroma’s full of citrus & resin, herbal, some malt. Flavor is relatively mild, a tad bit sweet, a hint of sourness. Dry finish, a mild bitterness that increases bit by bit. Hop bomb in the aroma rather than in the flavor.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a hazy golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of hops. I get a ton of sweet pineapple as well as some hoppy pine and resin notes and some bread from the malt. The flavor is more of the same. I get low to medium bitterness from the hops and a lot of pineapple and other tropical fruit notes. The bready malt keeps the bitterness from being overpowering. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice American Pale Ale.

Pours an unclear and amber beer with an offwhite/orange head. The aroma is malt and hops with grapefruit. The flavor follows the nose with additional peach. The palate is bitterness. Overall a good beer with a good balance.

Bottle at my East Croydon tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours very cloudy orange with a thick foamy beige head and high carbonation. The nose is pine, grass, polish, citrus fruit and dust. The taste is pine, grass, orange, grapefruit, caramel, resin, warming and astringent, with a long bitter-dry finish. A pleasant, easy drinking pale ale, but not quite bitter as I was hoping for.
