Bottle. It pours a very deep orange gold color with a massive three finger off white head. The aroma is very disappointing for a IIPA. Not much going on except a whiff of stale peaches. Strange, since I know this is fresh bottle. The flavor however is very good. Dense body with some nice fruity/peachy sweetness backed up by good bitterness in the finish Theres some orange/mango juice flavors in there as well. I like the hop flavor of tropical fruit and grapefruit candy. This is on the malty side for an IIPA, but in a fruit candy way instead of bready, caramel malty way. Pretty good.

Hazy copper with big risky off-white head. Nose of pine, orange zest, and grapefruit with slight herbaceousness. Good carbonation, slightly sticky. Lots of resin and bitter, biting hops. Almost enough citrus sweetness to balance it out. Long lasting bitter finish. Among the best I’ve tried.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish copper with a modest beige head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a robust caramel malt flavor with initial sweetness that quickly turns bitter.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy deep golden with a medium off white head. The aroma is loaded with hops. Citrus, grape fruit, pine and sweet fruit combined with loads of caramel. The flavour is very bitter and piney with notes of resin, and citrus, Good caramel backbone. The hops really over powers everything but the caramel. Very bitter finish.

Papsoe (25094) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. It’s thick, it’s syrupy - it’s pretty damm massive! Pours a cloudy and almost opaque giolden with an off-white head leaving broad curtain of lacework. Solid body, sweet, a rich fruitiness and then of course intensely hoppy, bordering herbal and dusty. Heavy booze finish. But it...works! 160212

A cloudy gold color with a white head and lots of lacing. The aroma is very pleasant, with grapefruit and general citrus with an interesting honey-like sweetness. The flavor is more astringent, with a citrus and resin flavor up front, and a long bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
