Really tasty beer. Perfect amount of carbonation. Has an extremely balanced malt to hop profile. Yet you can definitely taste the hops pretty strongly. Very little alcohol taste from a 10% beer. Really impressed, very good beer. Citra hops so you know it’s gonna be fruity. Has a slight bitter twinge at the end but very low actual bitterness.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops, with lots of peach, along with some biscuit and toffee. Fruity and malty flavour. Very sweet with hot alcohol, and very aggressive and harsh bitterness

330 ml bottle. BBE 24.11.2017.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, sweet caramel and lovely exotic fruits. Strong flavour of sweet caramel malts, grapefruit, very bitter and mouth-drying hops, exotic fruits such as mango. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a long, fruity, mouth-drying bitter finish. A very bitter DIPA with loads of fruitiness. Me want more.

Always a fan of Mikkeller IPA’s. A nice example of how to make a 10% IPA, great attenuation, nice residual sweetness, nice just enough malt base, light citrus, more pine, some de proef yeast dryness. Enjoyed this beer quite a bit.

Bottle. It pours a very deep orange gold color with a massive three finger off white head. The aroma is very disappointing for a IIPA. Not much going on except a whiff of stale peaches. Strange, since I know this is fresh bottle. The flavor however is very good. Dense body with some nice fruity/peachy sweetness backed up by good bitterness in the finish Theres some orange/mango juice flavors in there as well. I like the hop flavor of tropical fruit and grapefruit candy. This is on the malty side for an IIPA, but in a fruit candy way instead of bready, caramel malty way. Pretty good.

Hazy copper with big risky off-white head. Nose of pine, orange zest, and grapefruit with slight herbaceousness. Good carbonation, slightly sticky. Lots of resin and bitter, biting hops. Almost enough citrus sweetness to balance it out. Long lasting bitter finish. Among the best I’ve tried.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours orange amber with a slight beige/white head. Aromas of strong citrus over warm caramel. Also floral. Med minus body. Flavor is floral, caramel and citrus. Flavorful and mellow. Very little heat.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish copper with a modest beige head and a strong citrus aroma. There is a robust caramel malt flavor with initial sweetness that quickly turns bitter.
