Botella. Hazy deep orange colour witha white head. Aroma of hops big time indeed, sweet like ripe fruit and pine. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is very hoppy with pine and ripe fruit indeed, caramel and malt, quite sweet and very bitter and dry. Gives a bit of a throat burn. Too much for my hop likings.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a huge white head that hangs around the top as a thick cap for the duration and leaves excellent lacing. Aroma is aggressively hoppy with a combination of white grapefruit, pineapple and pine resin. There is a sweet maltiness that emerges after the initial blast of hops. The taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, at least in terms of the juicy citrus, which is lacking in the taste. The bitterness takes on a more abrasive, boozy feel in the taste with the citrus being more subtle. Little bit of caramel malts in the background. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and pretty sticky on the palate with soft carbonation. This one started out great with look and even smell but I don’t think the taste is well integrated enough for this to be considered great. Tasty but not one I’ll revisit.

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of pine with a good amount of resin with a good amount if dankness and a bit sweet grain. Flavor starts strong pine and resin that lasts throughout the beer.

Bottle poured into a tulip. Quite cloudy orange gold with a nice creamy off white head. It leaves a layer on the glass. A gentle nose of soft fruit. The flavor is a truly interesting mix of subdued and aggressive. That soft fruit again and some big bitter citrus hops live side by side. Caramel adds big sweetness and pine is almost hidden. Grapefruit grows and soon takes over. This beer ranged from very drinkable to overly bitter. It never lacked in flavor. Tasty!

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of hops, pine, resin, orange, hop-juice, fruit, a hint of malt. Poured amber in color with a small, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Clear. Not sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, grapefruit, and hop oil. Medium body. Oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Hop, resin, pine, hop oil finish is heavily bitter and dry. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Hazy orange with a fizzy white head. Faded quick with lots of lace. Aroma was pine and citrus with notes of sweet caramel. Flavors were citrusy and pine with a big bitter finish throughout the sip. Big bitter. Stayed nicely after each sip with good citrus. Quite good but a bit abrasive at times.

Thanks Sam for sharing. Pours soft straw gold with one finger of offwhite head. Nose is very nice, lots of fresh hop character and citrus. Some pine resin and citrus zest. Grapefruit flesh and citrus zest in the flavor with a slightly resinous character. Medium body and very dry finish, medium lasting bitterness.
