330ml bottle from Archive. Pours a golden orange colour with a big rocky head of foam. Insane hop aroma fills the nose with sweet joy. Flavour is as good as the aroma with a long lingering aftertaste. A pleasure to drink.

On tap, local beer bar eureka, CA. Beautiful dark golden almost green color, insane hoppy aroma of earth, ganja, fruity, and semi sweet tones. Sublimely hoppy juice flavor. Great lingering bitter aftertaste

20 cl tasting glass @ Mikkeller bar in Copenhagen, Denmark. Bright orange, amber pour. Short lived lacy head. Aroma of citrus and pine. My kid (18 yo but not a beer drinker) said "it smells like orange juice". I concur. The taste was a unique IPA experience. Great balance of ingredients. A pleasure from start to finish. Palate coated in an ocean of obvious west coast hoppiness. The lemony-citrus hop road has a big pine/resinous stripe down the middle. Just enough malt for the hops to hold onto. Reminds me of Green Flash West Coast IPA but with a bit more complexity.

This is really stellar. Smells great, tons of hops throughout but never overly dominated by bitterness. Tastes strong but not alcohol-flavored. Great.

Part of a six IPA tasting session. Listed as Double Imperial Pale Ale.
No freshness date, but I know this was released in February 2012.
Poured from a 330 mL bottle into a snifter.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden with a 1/2 finger white head.
S: Lots of bright citrus, marmalade, and floral hops. Great aroma.
T: Taste follows the aroma pretty well, with a sweet malt backbone balancing out a high level of bitterness.
M: Crisp, light bodied, and well carbonated.
O: Definitely the best of the tasting. Balance is key here, as with the Hopzilla. Too bad it may only be a one time release, and since it is a single 11.2 oz bottle, it certainly is overpriced like most of Mikkeller’s beers.

Shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus @ Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Hazy medium orange color, full long lasting dense creamy white head. Smell hops, pine, grapefruit, resin, all perfectly balanced! Taste hops, pine, resin, medium to very bitter with sweetish fruity hints. Great fruity-bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium to full body. This is a great beer!

Great beer. Heard was huge and lingering. The aroma is powerful with Strong hints of orange and hops. The taste is fruity, hoppy , with a hint of coconut, and a bitter finish that stay with you.

Stark blumiger Hopfenantrunk, der keinen Zweifel daran lässt, was das Bier zu bieten hat. Dunkler aber keinesfalls weniger hopfig ist das Bier im Mittelteil, trotz des Alkoholgehalts ist das Bier unglaublich weich und konzentriert sich voll auf den Hopfen. Zitrusnoten, etwas Mango, würzige Aprikosennoten. Im Abgang zwar recht bitter aber auch dies wird von der unglaublich aromatischen Hopfigkeit verdrängt. Spitze! 11/14/14/14/11/14

Orange to light brown body, perfect white head. Big on tropical fruits, mango, orange peel, solid bready base, some funk and a bit grassy. Fatty, full body that provides an amazing background for the full bitterness. Reveals the quite high alcohol percentage very well. Delicious! (At The BeerTemple)
