Bottle. Pours clear hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium-short retention with light to good lacing. Aroma is heavy pine, resin, and floral hops, pear and apple hops with biscuit malt and light alcohol notes. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light sweet malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation.

The ale one get more piny aroma than the lager one. And the flavor is more intense which it’s quite normal because of the yeast. The apparence it a little bit cloudly but nothing wrong.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99 from notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have resiny, floral and citrus hops, caramel malts, mild toasted malt, solid bitterness with just a hint that this is old, an improvement over what we usually get from Shelton bros. as far as European IPAs.

Very strong bitterness at the beginning and end of malt then more moderate. I liked it, but the bitterness of course brutal

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a huge creamy white head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit, resin. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, fruit, citrus, resin, booze. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, lasting bitter finish with some alcohol. 260115

Thx! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT”. Drank side-by-side High & Low version. Hazy orange, little white head. Boozy nose, unlike with low version, fizzy floral, pine resin, oily, sticky caramel malts. Bitter ginger taste, herbal, boozy, caramel malts, boozy. Thick body. Rather too boozy. Okay.

Very good, white head; pale golden-ochre beer with some Grünstich. Faint hoppy nose, faint exotic fruit, peach & lychee. Spicy-hoppy taste, with a bit of rosewater, exotic fruit as lychee, passion fruit but also strawberry. Rather spritzy MF; well-bodied, very oily to viscous. Some alcoholwarming. Interesting compared to the Low (which, incidentally, I liked less than the first time around).

Bottle from the parents. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Lovely big tropical fruit aroma. The taste is fruity too with tropical notes and smooth caramel. Spicy bitter finish. Really creamy mouthfeel. Liked this a lot.
