0.33 l bottle. Hazy golden to copper color. Flowery and citrusy aroma with apricot, honey and hint of sweat. Bitter-fruity flavor with lemon, apricot, pine and toffee. Medium body. Long lingering bitter-fruity finish. Not a bad IPA.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, Denmark
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus and grape. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long light malty, bitter finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Nose you could use a knife and fork on with tons of meaty hops. Pours a cloudy pale copper with a vague head and shreddy lace. Flavour is very dry and fiercely hopped with very little balancing sweetness or malt which leads to a very dry and long finish. It’s a bit vicious in a lot of ways, but rewarding.

Grifo. Vaso de ½ Pinta. Color ámbar anaranjado y apariencia niblada. Corona blanco amarillenta, algodonosa y con buena retención. Collares copiosos. Sabores y aromas de sutil malta carmaelo, resinas, fruta tropical y pomelo. Contundente pero agradable amargor en el intermedio que permanece hasta el final. Paladar oleoso, cremoso y sabroso. Cuerpo intenso y carbonatación extra suave. Refrescante, deliciosa. El ABV no resulta molesto en absoluto. On-tap. ½ pint glass. Orangish amber in color, foggy appearance. Yellowish white, rocky, well retention crown. Copious collars. Subtle caramel malt, resins, tropical fruits & grapefruit notes both in flavor & aromas. Sharp, but gentle, bitterness in the middle lingers into the finish. Oily, flavorful, creamy palate. Full body, extra-soft carbonation. Refreshing, delightful. ABV is not annoying at all.

33cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2012, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, bitter/sweet and slightly alcoholic/floral, heavy, not balanced, hazy, good head, nice brew, yet expensive

Bottle. Golden amber with short lasting white head. Nice hoppy aroma, resinous, piney, alcohol coming through a little, bordering on vegetal. Taste has more of the same, malt making itself known, lager yeast also evident. Oily with a bitter finish, alcohol not particularly well masked. Very much like a dipa but I’d probably rather have a dipa

Bottle @ home. Aroma is piney resinous hops, touch of malt. Flavour is a rich malty goodness covered by a thick fruity hops goodness, but with little (relative) bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours orange with white head. Nose/taste of thick bitter malt, dank orange and grapefruit rind, caramel, pineapple, citrus, and pine wood. Finishes malty and bitter. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden/amber with an off-white head. Good lacing. Sharp, tart, fresh citrus hop aroma, bordering grape fruit – very nice! Flavour is bitter citrus hops with a distinct alcohol presence and a metallic overtone. Malt in the background. Fat, bitter and sweetish finish with a lingering tartness and an alcoholic note. Overall pretty good, but the alcohol – and to some extent the bitterness – isn’t that well-balanced. 07.06.12.
