3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy and amber beer with a white head. The aroma is malt and hops with grapefruit, peach and citrus. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall a good beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle. Cloudy orange golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, superbly lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma with an earthy touch, pine, a touch of honey, some floral hop. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, creamy, sticky, no hint of the high abv. IIPA-like on the malt side, a bit weak on the hop side.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
10oz pour at Mikkeller Bar is a clear, deep orange with one ring of white head. Nose is nice, good hop profile, some soap, some pine, orange, plenty of sugar malt, some tropical fruit, corn. Flavor is sweet, boozy, bitter, actually reminded me a bit of a barleywine, lemon, soap, orange, a little grapefruit pith. Full bodied, boozy, malty, bitter finish. A lagered barleywine.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml brown bottle, black and white label. Gold pour with some fine haze, whitish head is quite large, very dense extra creamy, clumpy and frothy. A very large amount of thick lacing is left coating the glass. The nose has thick caramel with some grain in the background, some citrus, light pine, folral with honey notes - much sweeter than expected. Taste has sweet caramel, grains, grassy hops, citrus, honey and alcohol. Finishes with a light citrusy bitterness, alcohol is noticable, light grains trail out. Mid-to full bodied, medium carbonation. In the end - strong and sweet malts, moderate hops, has some double IPA characteristics, but the overall verdict is a bit too much sweetness, hops end up taking a backseat. The burn is more from the alcohol.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Bright orange-tinted gold with a thick white head that leaves wispy lace. Aroma is alive with fruity hops, lots of juicy tangerine, some pink grapefruit. Sweetly fruity palate, lots of citrus but with a melon-like sweetness, creamy mouthfeel. Long bitter finish in terrific balance. Very nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ hotelroom. Nice golden orange colour with a decent white head. Smells hoppy, bitter and sweet. Tastes hoppy, sweet, malty.. Quite nice! Not an IPA, not a pilsener, but something in between. Lovely carbo, full and slightly warming body.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden amber with a tall fluffy cap slowly melting down into the beer. Citrusy leafy hops with an apple finish in the nose, pretty simple aroma. When warmer the aroma morphed into a strange honey funk with a sock backbone (not in a bad way). Taste is the same but has more of a honey, no trace of the 10%, a floral quality, and more stuff. Wow just got a big kind of unpleasant mouthful of booze in the second last sip....where did that come from??? A high quality drinkable brew that disappointed, still glad I tried it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that settles to leave some very nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grainy with some citrus and grass. Taste is a bold citrusy and grassy hop bitterness with a good balance of a grainy malty sweetness underneath. Medium bodied with some good carbonation and alcohol is definitely present. A high quality brew for the style and is quite tasty and definitely recommended.
