En kirjoitellut tästä oluesta muuta ylös kuin pisteet. Joka tapauksessa humalahakuiseen menoon aivan erinomainen imperial pils. Kuten arvata saattaa humalaa on käytetty aivan törkeän paljon. Ja kyllä, keitos on todella maukas!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Look: hazy yellow/amber. Very nice carbonation. Foam billowy with different sized bubbles, nice retention to white stable cover with few islands. Random lacing.
Smell: Pine, citrus zest, grapefruit - very IPA-ish hops. It’s also alcohol spicy with some hints of sweet malt, caramel and toffee.
Taste: quite strong and aggressive hop taste of pine, grapefruit and lemon. It continues to medium sweet malts and then again to an aggressive followup of clean sharp bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Very smooth and creamy, medium body with dry finish. There is some warming from the high alcohol content.
Overall: a more aggressive than your typical IPL beer. Mix of crisp lager and DIPA with strong focus on bitterness. Still an interesting, drinkable and solid beer.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2013 1/XI/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 16/VII/19 (2013-1024)
Clear orange beer, big irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, grassy hops, citrus, piny, sweet caramel malts, bit sugary, candy, apricot. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet sugary start, citrus, lots of grapefruit, piny bitterness, lots of alcohol. Aftertaste: very bitter, almost medicinal, citrus, grapefruit, zest, grassy, dry and bitter ending. Ok, but way too much alcohol for what you get flavour wise.

Cold bottle BB 2019. Clear and slightly sparkling. Very light orange/pink colour with a little head. Smell - peachy, passionfruit, musty hops, tangerine, a little alcohol. Body is a medium, quite spritzy. Taste - watery cordial start, then becomes caramelly, finish is sharp alcohol with assertive hop bitterness. Not like any lager I’ve ever had! Nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It is a hazy golden colored beer, with an average whit head. The nose is fresh, piney, hoppy, citrus grapefruit and some alcohol. It is a medium to full bodied beer, with an excellent carbonation. The taste is very bitter and gets in your nose like mustard. The beer is also what sweet, yellow fruit and alcohol. The aftertaste is somewhat dry and strong bitter, stays for some while. Never thought a lager could taste like this!
33 cl bottle 10% abv. Fresh and piney aroma, hazy golden colour, small creamy head. Taste is overwhelming, very bitter and gets in your nose like mustard or horseradish.. Also some sweetness here, alcohol is hidden well. The most interesting lager i’ve ever tasted.

Sødlig alkohol og amerikansk humle duft.
Varm sødme og blid humle vælter over tungen. Blid bitterhed der vokser sammen med alkoholen og afsluttes flot rent som et shot. Bærer de 10+ ret flot. Mærkes i duft og eftersmag. Opvisning i IIPA men ku godt køre mere bitterhed.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online shop. Pours hazy amber-orange with a thin white head, and a few floaty bits. Aromas of citrus, mango, pine, booze and the faintest whiff of lager. High lager carbonation, pleasant but strong.
