3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml brown bottle, black and white label. Gold pour with some fine haze, whitish head is quite large, very dense extra creamy, clumpy and frothy. A very large amount of thick lacing is left coating the glass. The nose has thick caramel with some grain in the background, some citrus, light pine, folral with honey notes - much sweeter than expected. Taste has sweet caramel, grains, grassy hops, citrus, honey and alcohol. Finishes with a light citrusy bitterness, alcohol is noticable, light grains trail out. Mid-to full bodied, medium carbonation. In the end - strong and sweet malts, moderate hops, has some double IPA characteristics, but the overall verdict is a bit too much sweetness, hops end up taking a backseat. The burn is more from the alcohol.

Aroma is citrus and grapefruit notes...very pronounced. Taste is a fresh bitterness that dominates all notes...very tangy finish that persists. Very high IBUs to be sure.Cloudy gold/amber body with medium frothy head.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Willems, Grobbendonk.
Nose: pine resin, orange zest. A lot of hops, not much beer.
Taste: Agressively hoppy and bitter with a bit of alcohol.
A bit too extreme for my taste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 16/07/2019 (seems more than excessive for the style). Pours an almost clear orange, head is small & white but very lasting. Smell is very bitter dried mandarin & orange peel, hugely bitter pine resin hops, bit oily, very raw grapefruit. Taste is similar, hugely bitter dried mandarin + orange peels and crazily bitter pine resin, very heavily so almost venturing into floral department, faint caramel malts underneath. Lighter, oily touch sticky body with carbonation being a touch too high. This is way too much, nearly bordering on non-enjoyable. A beer for people who think that the more hops, the better. A miss from Mikkeller, I finished it & it wasn’t all bad but it way too much for me obviously.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light gold colour with light head. Aroma is quite alcoholic, but backed with hoppyness, sweetness and some bubblegum. Taste is sweeter than expected, but still hoppy and dry aftertaste. In general a very interesting sweet IPA, but the alcohol can be a bit much.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light hazy yellow with a medium sized slowly diminishing creamy white head. Passion fruit, apricot, light pine, light bread, light caramel, light alcoholic. Nothing sticks much out, seems a bit more closed than the high version with more dominating malt notes. Full body, medium sweet and bitter with a long lasting bitter finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Color: a bit cloudy gold/orange with small white head, lacing glass. Hoppy aroma - floral, citrus, grapefruits, pines, caramel malts. Similar to some Imperial IPA style. Taste is really bitter with little sweet background. Grapefruits, pines, tropical fruits, herbal, grass, hoppy liqueur, a bit spirituous, Warming long finish. Full body with soft carbonation. The most hoppy strong lager that i ever taste. I like It.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy orange with decent head and lacing. Aroma is big with dark fruit, cherries, alcohol, cereal, and slightly woody, herbal, and medicinal. Taste is also big, with toffee malts up front, then right into a crisp hop middle that dries it out quickly, leaving a bitter finish in the mouth, and the fruity malts only in the retronasal. This just in... it gets better as it warms. The malts stick around much longer and the transition to bitterness is improved. Interesting to try and good overall, but nothing worth seeking out again, especially given the high price tag.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Medium amber with a white, creamy, lacy lasting frothy, head. Smells of citrus fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, pine and caramel malt. Medium oily to thin body, Sweet at first but sort of subdued and sort of sour with a mellow acid finish. The aftertaste is bitter with some alcohol. It’s ok but sort of flat
