4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 fiulijn (12200) - Malmö, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2012
Bottle at På Besök, Malmö Parallel with Bravo, Cascade, Simcoe bb 15.03.13, possibly 3 months old Hazy amber color; medium sized creamy head. The aroma, although not too strong, is very pungent, with citrusy fruits, cedar, passion fruit; very satisfying. The dry toffee flavor is almost completely hidden by the hop here (and this is not a bad thing); still, the toffee flavour could be cleaner… The hop carries a god mix of fruits and resins, aggressive in a good way; there is some bitter orange, cedar and passion fruit. Long final. Excellent.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This one pours a heavy clouded orangish body. It also has a nice big and quite lasting almost creamy off-white head. Nice fruity and hoppy aroma. Pine cones and some caramel. Much the same in the flavor: Piny with sweet caramel before it ends in a nice lasting hoppy and bitter - almost soapy bitter aftertaste. Nice stuff. I quite liked it.

The hops are floral and earthy, slightly spicy. Decent carbonation. Medium Bitterness IPA, which last throughout the taste. There is a touch of sweetness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly to medium bitter.
