3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sigmund (4166) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 11, 2013
Shared 330 ml bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar (single hop tasting). ABV is 6.8%, IBU 72. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pine, citrus and dust. Hoppy flavour, but not too bitter - the malts somehow seem drier here than in other varieties of this otherwise identical brew. Notes of resin, grapefruit and dust.

11th July 2011 Hazy amber beer, good off white head. Dry crispy palate. Fairly bitter minerally orange. Shows fresher orange before a dry bitter finish. Not bad.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 nygard67 (13) - NORWAY - JAN 11, 2013
Dark golden color with a nice head. This ale really celebrates the Amarillo hop. Nice fruity citrus aroma with hints of peach or apricot. Balanced malts to back it up - but it doesn’t steal any spotlight from the hop profile. A very nice single hop.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mysan_brewing (55) - - JAN 4, 2013
Nice dark honey colour, hazy with a good white head. Smells like grapefruit with a hint of sweetness. Taste is a bit simple for my taste. The first impression is sweet, and I find the grapefruit bitterness in the aftertaste. An ok beer that proves its point. Probably better if you taste the whole range:)
