3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20A malty bomb of a beer. Aroma and flavor were both heavy on the caramel malt. Tasted like a liquified Sugar Daddy candy. No hop flavor or aroma detectable. Decent carbonation. Not a terrible beer, but not an IPA at this point. This was a dusty bottle sitting on a shelf, so I’m assuming it’s old. Decent carbonation.

Bottle from perfect pour. Pours dark orange with a thin khaki head. Faint floral on the nose. Nice hop flavor on the tongue with enough bitterness to finish clean without being a hop bomb. Nice!

33cl Bottle. Blind tasting of all 19 Mikkeller Hop Series beers.
Appearance: amber beer, stable white head.
Nose: very sweet nose, pleasant!
Taste: mild taste, light sweet, very balanced.
I can understand why a lot of brewers use this kind of hop.

Fra flaske på Humle i Annen mars-13: nr. 17, og flere i panelet har kastewt inn glasset og forlatt åstedet. Bare 38 IBU, men ganske bitter allikevel. Fruktig og god. Fikk først en stjerne i margen, men denne ble strøket uten at jeg kan erindre hvorfor...

Appearance: Hazy dark orange color with a fine off white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Malty, fruity and grape hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity and rich (grape) hoppy on a solid malt background.
Overall impression: Heavy stuff. Nice IPA but it is better with Cascade together with some other friends.

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, medium sized, creamy, fairly long lasting, fair lacing white to off - white head. Aroma of malts, citrus, oranges, hops, grapefruit. Taste malts, hops, grapefruit, bitter, fruity. Medium body and carbonation. I very much like this. A clean IPA, nothing outrageous, good balance. Lovely.

Bottle, enjoyed september 15th 2012. Hazy dark orange body, big offwhite head. Aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit. Dry taste with cara malt, grapefruit and oranges. Good strong bitterness. Not very special in any way, but a solid cascade ipa.

not bad, lacking in the flavour of others in this range. A little soapy at the end.

Richmond 19th. Fun to get to hit a few of this series. Medium orange, Aroma of caramel and grapefruit and pine hop. Flavor matches. Not bad.
