3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange brown with yeast residue.
Discreet and smooth, some fruit, some dryness, but not punching in any direction.Apricots, some tinggling dryness. Some hops are overpowering on their own, some blend in with the carpet. This is nice, but this one is probably better in a mix.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Brownish orange with red tones.Frothy thin head good lacing.Floaties.
Aroma of carmel malts, bready pastry, sweet light spice and vanilla candied orangish taffy.
Taste is about mirror as aroma with a citrus lemon spice ending pretty zesty, but not puckering or rhindy mildly refined but pleasant. And of course the carmel pastry malt backbone this series has.
Overall its a nice mellow mild lemony hop flavor just enough tartness to be lemon but stops before it starts being too lemon tart. Cuts through the carmel pastry in the finish, balanced well.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, near Gent, Belgie 12th November 2011 consumed at home 25th November 2011 Pours hazy amber with slim white bubbly rim. Bitter and hoppy but not really hoppy, in fact it is less in yer face than the Super Galena though still good. Seems a touch thicker and slicker than some of this series. Good beer. 3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours honey colored and hazy with thick, frothy, white head. Roasted, malty aroma, with some resinous, hoppy notes. Starts medium lightness and increases to strong bitter finish that is abrupt. Average IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from City Beer. Pours copper with a thick beige head and a piney aroma. There is a slightly off toffee flavor with a sour and bitter finish. Not a good hop for this series.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of caramel and orange citrus notes, as well as something that resembles circus peanuts.
The flavor is different. I get a lot of orange citrus notes, but I also get some toffee and grass notes. The bitterness is fairly low for an IPA.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is mostly citrus and a bit of earth. The flavor has a decent hop bite to it, unexpected but nice with an English hop IPA. Obviously nowhere near as hoppy as most IPAs due to the type of hops used, otherwise this was pretty good, better labeled as an ESB than an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
More like a Belgian IPA than an American-style one. Definitely not what I expected, or as good as I expected, but itís solid. If it came in 6-packs for $10 this would be a rotation IPA. For the price it is disappointing, but by all objective measures itís a very decent brew.
