3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ddemmingjr (592) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Bottle: pours cloudy amber with tons of yeast particulates floating around, nice off white head that settles to a ring. Nose is musty, distinctive mikkeller yeast, some fruits but this bottle is obviously past it's prime. More caramel malt sweetness and some breadiness coalescing with some musty earth hop flavors.still drinkable but let's face it, old bottle... Boo.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Poured into a tulip, muddy appearance. Obvious hoppy/citrus notes on the nose. Taste was citrus/grapefruit with a slightly bigger caramel maltiness than anticipated. Very drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jkwood04 (2293) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 27, 2013
11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, some floral notes and caramel and honey from the malts. Flavor the same, with a good amount of hops. Average texture. A good beer, but I’d like to try it fresh.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grima (1864) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon, Arlon, Belgium
The beautiful copper-colored beer pours into the glass, with a high, creamy, delicate, durable head. It smells very citrus-hoppy, with lots of grapefruit and some caramel. Starts hoppy-sweet, very fruity, with a lot of citrus and grapefruit. The middle part has a lot of tropical fruit and citrus and some pine woods, coupled with a slight grassiness. Goes into a citrus-fruity finish with pine woods and tropical fruits.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 pmuzz (266) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 28, 2013
Solid IPA. I love citra hops, this brought out the best of the hops. Really worth a try.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mixmasterob (832) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Hazy, muddy amber pour with a nice off white fluffy head. Aroma was a but muted and sweet full of caramel and some citrus fruit. This obviously has some age on it. The citra hops have faded but left a small trace in the aroma and flavors. Just hints of citrus, the caramel has become the forefront at this point. Mouthfeel was nice and velvety, carbonation light. Still very drinkable and nice just not what it once was. These single hop Mikkellers are just about useless at this point. Still very good IPAs, would love to try em fresh.

3rd July 2011 Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Semi dry and crispy palate. Creamy malt. Bitterish orange with a trace of grapefruit. Semi dry finish. An oddly muted Citra beer - lacking the fruit intensity you normally find in Citra beers. Still good though!
