The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, Columbus hops, on a caramel background - very distinct Columbus. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon and grapefruit on a malty caramel background, leading to a bitter finish.

Poured at The Top in Gainesville. Murky brownish pour and small white head. Malty aroma, caramel, bit of hops pine. Flavor follows with big caramel malt notes, candy brown sugar, not much hop presence. Interesting but won’t return to this one.

Pours a cloudy(likely from dry hopping) amber colour with a massive sticky, dense, creamy off white head that leaves tons of lace up the glass.Aroma is tropical fruits, some caramel, and sweet orange. Flavour is resin, pine, grape fruit, medium bitterness, light grass, and mild malty sweetness. Nice balance to this one.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy burnt orange with a half finger of white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, bitter orange, a little caramel and grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter. Citrus and pine. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, good. Definitely a fan of this hop.

Color: clear amber beer with particles, small carbonization and small ivory foam. Smell: caramel, hops, sugar, cane, herbs. Taste: strong hops and caramel taste. Really strong taste of hops. Aftertaste: hops, wet bitterness, and caramel.

Bottle. Clear dark golden with a fizzy white head. Caramel grapefruit and pine aroma and taste with a clean citrus finish. Quite good.

Appearance: amber beer, stable white head.
Nose: citrus.
Taste: quite fruity, citrus in the taste again. Lots of grapefruit.

Bottle - I don’t exactly recall where or when. Pours clear, bright copper-gold with a large, frothy white foam head. Dried citrus in the nose, some toasty biscuits, faint caramel and dirt. Medium sweet flavor with juicy melon, mango, orange, light pine, bubblegum, some dirt and grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Quick sticky and resinous to finish, with more melon, lingering grass, light boozy warmth, some further dirt and caramel, toast and bubblegum. One of the better beers I’ve had from this series.

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Yet another in the line up of great beers from Mikkeller. Strong in the mouth with great flavour and aroma. Big bold and ballsy.
