0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Very cloudy bronzy brew with a head of tan head of small to medium bubbles. Nose is strong with the slightly pine scent of hops. Taste is dry initially with a good hit of hops. They start with more pine but resolve to almost a white pepper on the finish. Body is lively. Finish is a touch of bitters. Quite an interesting beer.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
brownish pour and small white head. Malty aroma, caramel, bit of hops pine. Flavor follows with big caramel malt notes, candy brown sugar, not much hop presence. Interesting

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Fresh and bitter. Tangy. Roses, flowery. Taste is bittersweet, but bitterness is big andl lingering!

Bottle @ home. Pours with a dark orange clear colour, big long lasting white frothy head. Aroma is medium malty, medium hoppy, with notes of resin, earth, herbs and additional notes of citrus. Medium to heavy bitter, slightly sweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark and murky, expected more aroma. Taste is nothing special, but a bitter aftertaste refreshes you and then leaves you with a dry bang!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to taster
Grapefruit, spruce, grapes, and resin. It’s a clear amber with lots of effervescence, and a frothy 2cm off white head with decent retention. Taste is fruity up front, with a strong grapefruit and bitter middle and bitter end with a slight syrupy sweetness. This is pretty good since it’s just a single hop.

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Reddish amber brown, reasonable head. Leafy resin hop aroma. Caramel hop flavour. Caramel grapefruit aftertaste. Good hop but not one of the best.
