Clear medium orange colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, overripped fruit, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, overripped fruit, caramel, wood, peppery, licorice (laberlaver) notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110503]

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and malt, leading to a biitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a deep golden with quite some impurities and a dense, white head leaving a neat lacework. Rather subdued hop aroma. Medium body, sweet fruitiness - rather surprising exotic fruit accents - and then a very dry and bitter finish. Good flavours but hardly any aroma. 040511

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Deep golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, hops, mild caramel and some earthyness. Flavour s quite similar, fruity, wooden, grassy and mildly spicy notes as well.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Lightly hazy amber, small head. Aroma of vegetables and citrus. Medium bodied with clean, hard mouthfeel. Soapy and resiny, long bitter finish. My least favourite in the hop series.

Parallel with Mt. Hood, Super Galena, Warrior
Hazy amber color; this one has less head than all other sisters. The aroma is mild, indifferent, with caramel and some dust. Good mouthfeel and body; the caramel flavor is rounder and not so dry as in others; the hopping is powerful, with a lot of oils, and resins, but just a light fruity trait. Long final, and strong, but quite pleasing.
Midway between single and double IPA, bold, pleasant, although not shining for the hop.
