Amber color with a white head. This one is a bit more on the hoppy side with a nice finish, but still lacking the pine and fruit notes.

pale beige head that disappears rather quickly with some good lacing. amber coloured clear beer. some caramel, herbal and spicy notes that resembles liquor like cognac or rhum, some vanilla, oak/wood .. difficult to find words to describe this aroma. taste is similar to the smell with a light sweetness followed by a nice bitterness that lasts a long time. very well balanced, nice one! (bottle 33cl / notes from backlog)
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Foffern (772) - Bodø, NORWAY - APR 26, 2013
Bottle at home. Has a cloudy amber colour with a big light beige whipped eggwhite-like head. The aroma is a bit faint but I find citrus, grapefruit and some pine. Grassy hops in the flavour along with some sweet malt, spices, apricot and some alcohol. Slick mouth feel, and has a medium bitterness. A well-balanced and fruity IPA. Nice.

Tasted EXACTLY the same as the Bravo version I just drank back to back so I have to cut and paste. No difference once so ever. Wish I could’ve had this fresh. Meh..I’m rating a bottle I got last year from a place where it probably sat for a while so I’m taking that into consideration. All things aside, it’s not a bad beer. Tastes like an English barley wine. Aroma was OK. Hints of earth and melted caramel. Pour was a nice medium brown with a one finger off white head. Taste was all malt. Decent caramel backbone is all this beer has left with just a tiny astringent note that was probably deliciously hoppy. Nice strong carbonation stayed with this beer. Bitter thing finish.

33cl bottle, poured into an English Pint. Dark Orange colour with a generous off-white head. Hoppy herbal aroma, earth notes as well. Roasted flavours in the mouth, similar to barbacue, with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Good balance, body and carbonation. Peculiar single hop beer, like it.

Bottle from Kihoskh, september 15th 2012. Amber body, large white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, honey, pineapple, orange peels. High bitterness, with a pineapple and lemon taste dominating over the malt sweetness. Dry and nice fruity finish.
