COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a part of a Single Hop IPA series by Mikkeller. We created this series to showcase hop varieties on their own. This gives the consumer the possibility of smelling and tasting the unique characteristics of each variety and hopefully helping to educate people about the wonderful world of hops. For each beer, the single hop variety was used in the same weight for bittering, aroma and flavor and for dry hopping. All 19 varieties of single hop beers in this series were brewed the same week and with malts from the same batches and the same yeast and fermentation temperatures. This is done to better compare the characteristics of the different hop varieties.

Glowing copper orange with an off white and strong head. Floral, herbs, cannabis and banana bread dominate this hop flavour for me, while the base beer feels bready this time around. Not my favourite hop aroma. Medium bitterness, balanced by a herbal and rounded off sweet side. Again a pleasant and low carbonated back bone from the base ipa. Good for the taste, not a fan of the aroma.

11.2 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma of mild spicy hops, toasted nuts, some orange and citrus. Flavour of spicy hops, some toasted nuts and oranges - pretty similar to the nose but more pronounced. Finishes on the toasted nuts and quite spicy. Decent.

12oz bottle shared amongst friends. 2nd bottle we opened from the single hop series. This one had a little bit more bite to it, bitter wise and flavor wise. Probably not my favorite from the series but a good switch up thats for sure.

Orange to amber colour, large to moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of mildly spicy hops. The flavour has a distinct and "clean" bitterness, some resinous notes, but not much complexity.

330 ml shared bottle kindly provided by gunnar. Bottle no. 9 during our Mikkeller Hop Series tasting. Cloudy deep golden body saturated with small particles and a small creamy light brown head leaving excellent lacing. Grassy piny pollen nose. Bitter and light toasted malty sweet. Full bodied. Grows in mouth. Long bitter finish.

Pours a hazy dark orange, small white head, nice webbed lacing patterns. Aromas of hay, lemon, malt, taste is as bland as aroma and ultra dry. Not a fan of magnum hops when they are alone. Lacking.

On bottle at Amundsen. Golden color, ok foam. Hoppy, fruity, light citrus aromas. Medium body & complexity. Good carbonation, balanced with solid bitterness. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home. Aroma is zesty citrus, some earthy herbal notes. Sour grapefruit in the background. Flavour is a weird winey sourish applish something, quite bitter and dry. If this is magnum it’s not for me.
