3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle... pours a really dark orange, great nice tope head, great retention and lacing, looks great... nice aroma, awesome sweet notes of pineapple with a bit of grassy hops, a bit of molasses, this is great... the taste is pretty decent, but loses a lot of the sweet/fruit notes on the nose, mostly the hops on the taste, still pretty successful

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a coppery amber color. Nice sized white head floats atop the liquid below. Peppery and hoppy aroma. Slight bit of malt in there as well. Nice flavor of hops and malt. A bit too dry and not enough hops. Better than the Mt. Hood version, and a decent tasting dry version of IPA. More hops and a bit more body would make this one superb. But it’s still very good on its own.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear golden amber with a good sized soapy beige head. The aroma has lots of floral, flowery and powdery traits along with some toasty malt hiding in the background. Medium body that’s hints at husks with lightly sharp carbonation. The taste starts off with woody, powdery, floral, citrusy hops along with caramel malt that seems a bit sweeter than others in the series. The finish is quite resiny and dry with grapefruit, piny and floral hops. Really nice IPA, but on the abrasive side.

Bottle from Beer Planet. Bright amber body with huge puffy head. Nose of hops, really nice. Taste is a very good Nugget hop that is quite sweet, bitter and has nice caramel flavours throughout. Really delectable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet)
Clear amber color, good beige/off-white head, lace. Nice aroma, not very strong: herbal and peppery, a bit earthy and woody too. Medium-bodied. This beer has quite bitter front, peppery bitterness. Then similar sweet caramelly-fruity maltyness like in all other Hop Series -beers. Relatively short finish for 95 IBU beer. Resiny-fruity notes. Nugget is a nice hop, but perhaps needs some more aromatic pair for nose.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
100ml, draught. Initial huge creamy, white-beige head that left fragile lacing behind. Golden-brown body. Moderate aroma of tart bitter fruits. Spicy fruits in flavour featuring lighter notes of malty sweetness leading to an outcome of bitter hops. Another good one in the series, but not among the very best of them (Copenhagen Beer Festival, 28.05.2011).
