3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2011 This bottle came from Total Wine and More in Roseville, CA. Poured a orange color with a medium sized white head. Medium body, Slick mouthfeel. Flavor is fruit and flowers. Dry bitter finish. Very interesting and somewhat different flavors. This single hop idea is interesting and educational.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrus (orange-grapefruit) in the aroma. The flavor is heavy on the grapefruit, with a dry, slightly gritty finish. Not bad just a bit off on the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL bottle generously sent across the pond by stobbe74. The bottle pours copper with gold edges and a bit hazy when the yeasty sediment is involved. The hop laden liquid supports a near white sort of head. The aroma is on the mild side with citrus sweet candy and spicy hops and not a whole lot else. The taste is subtle with hops and revealing sweet pilsner like malts as well as some spicy hops and citrus. It grows into modest levels of bitterness into the finish. It doesnít seem like a hop that will do all that well by itself.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orangish pour. Aroma is light on the hops, more malt forward aroma. Flavor is lightly bitter, but again I get more malt, biscuit, crackerish flavors.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange/amber with a big, fluffy off-white/beige head. Good lacing. Sweet and malty aroma with hops in the background. Slightly tart and wooden note as it warms. Malty and slightly tart flavour with a grainy note. Bitter, dryish and grainy finish with a lingering, slight alcohol burn. Expected more from this, especially hop-wise, and certainly didnít expect the grainy notes ...maybe it should have been consumed earlier. Still, not bad or anything though. 08.10.11.
