COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Brygget på: Vand, malt (pilsner, munich, cara-crystal), havreflager, humle (Saaz) og gær.

English: This beer is a part of a Single Hop IPA series by Mikkeller. We created this series to showcase hop varieties on their own. This gives the consumer the possibility of smelling and tasting the unique characteristics of each variety and hopefully helping to educate people about the wonderful world of hops. For each beer, the single hop variety was used in the same weight for bittering, aroma and flavor and for dry hopping. All 20 varieties of single hop beers in this series were brewed the same week and with malts from the same batches and the same yeast and fermentation temperatures. This is done to better compare the characteristics of the different hop varieties.

Bottle to maudite glass at cheese shop in Des Moines. Cloudy orange with thin white head. Grapefruit and sour aroma. Crazy unique taste. Weird fruit, thick palette and hoppy. It's pretty good but not in love

Bottle at home. Pours a pretty clear deep orange colour with medium beige and creamy head. Hay, sweet corn and spicy saaz hops in a little faint aroma. Nice though. The flavour is a balanced version of the aroma and with dry hops in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A balanced mix of a czech pilsner and an IPA. Nice one.

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Bold golden honeycomb colour with lots of light beige foam. Looks big and bold in the glass. Sweet caramel aroma with a faint hint of vanilla.

Bottle from BlackHearts&Sparrows. Very unique nose. Aromas of grass, caramel, nuts, hints of liquorice. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Color : nice clear amber beer with big light white head and strong carbonization. Smell : hops, spices, honey, caramel, sugar and red fruits (strawberry and raspberry). Taste : red fruits taste, with small bitterness, and nice sugar composition. Aftertaste : small bitterness, and red fruits. Really fresh sensation and really tasty.

Stjerne i margen.

Shared 330 ml bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar (Single Hop tasting). ABV 6.8%, 30 IBU. Hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Nice and typical Saaz aroma of grassy and herbal hops. Nice herbal flavour too, but with 30 IBU it is hardly an IPA. I might easily mistake this for a decent Euro strong lager.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, full sized white to off - white head that lasts for a long while. Not too much aroma after I just poured it. Taste malts, some bitter, lightly hops. Decently thirst quenching but I don’t really like it.
