2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle @Cimmeria. About to expire, so i supposse the off aromas and flavours are due to this. Citrus, smooth, a bit disgusting bitterness. Hope i can taste a fresher one to properly rate it.

Aroma: Citric and fruity with some malty notes.
Palate: Medium body with a balanced sweetness and a fine bitterness.
Flavor: Citric and a fine balanced fruitiness

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cL bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Chicago, served in a tulip. Pours clear amber with a tall, pillowy tan head. The head remains and leaves a moderate amount of fine lace. On the nose, there are notes of caramel, flowers and citrus. The flavour is moderately bitter with caramel, pine, grapefruit and flowers. It becomes more bitter towards the end, and closes with a long, dry peppery hoppy finish. On the palate, it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall, a well constructed IPA designed to show off the Super Galena hop. Definitely not one of my favourites in the series; it had a nice bitter finish, but the nose disappointed. 2012-06-07

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Murky dark orange, thin-medium head. Aromas of grapefruit, pepper, orange. The beer is superbly balanced between the malt and hops, which provide lots of gentle bitterness, and wonderful lingering aroma. The hops are very flavourful without being aggressive or overly one character or the other. It tastes like something more complex than a single hop.
