2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ home. One finger foam. Copper quite clear. Tasted this before 1 1/2 year ago. Didn't score it due to too much tasting (the other 19 hops). Exp. 0313. Low caramalty aromas. Can't figure out if there is any hoppy aromas. Maybe lost at this moment. Stale low bitterness. Not impressed by this hop. Stay away.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reduced to half off, I should know better than to spend my coin on old beer by now. Copper dead yeast soup with a slowly fading large tan topper. Aroma of caramel, amber, biscuit, grassy hops and some peach. Taste is bready and floral with caramel, wort and stalky notes. Aggressively bitter, I don’t like this hop all on its own very much.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Botella de 33 cl en casa. mayo de 2013 probada junto con la serie galena. Aroma a ligero tostado.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a translucent dark copper from the bottle with dissipating off-white head that leaves good lace. Aroma is malty sweetness, caramel and pils, slight grassiness on the back end. Taste is less malty, better balance, but the hops have definitely fallen off. Lasting bitterness, bit of burn on the way down. Definitely not fresh, but interesting concept.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Smells yeasty, resinous with some toffee sweetness. Tastes floral and honey sweet but ends very dry and very, very bitter. Palate has just enough slickness to match the dryness. Definitely not bad but of the single hop IPAs I've tried (eight in all), I'd say it's middle of the pack.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great copper color with relatively thick head and lacing. Very floral aroma, somehow smells like sawdust - though not in a bad way. Taste starts out incredibly sweet, honey, flowers, finishes bitter and quite dry. Nice thick palate. Very interesting beer but too bitter to drink a lot of.

I was looking forward to Trying Mikkeler, since it gets so many praises of being good and innovative brewer. I was excited to find It’s Hop Series at a reasonable price. Unfortunately my anticipation and excitement was not matched by high standards that everyone praises Mikkeller to live by. Everyone in supply chain is to blame… Mikkeller does not have production dates, Distributor Trying to sell the product no matter what, Binny’s not having balls to stand up to its supplier and let them know that it is out of date and no good. I was pissed… All of them were old and stale, therefore complete waste of time and money. Every time I come across bad batch I swear to stop buying anything that has no dates… I just might do that, since there are plenty of other choices… Going Back to Mikkeller Hop Series… All of them Poured A Shade Lighter Or A Shade Darker of Muddy Brown. All of them Had Smaller or Larger Floaters. Huge Head, Decent Lacing. Earthy, Stale Hops Aroma. Tasted pretty much the same: Earthy, Malt, Stale Hops. Moderate Bitter Finish… Pass It Unless You Know It Is Fresh…
