3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours pale amber color with one head head with amazing staying power. Lacing covers the side of the glass. Good pale malt bases with plenty of bitterness and snough spice and flowers from the hops. An enjoyable expirement.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber color, slightly hazy and chunky, topped with a tan colred head - lasting. Malty aroma, caramel notes, some biscuity and molasses notes. Tastes opens with some nice sweetness, followed by moderate bitterness. Not bad, among the better ones from the series.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
As goes for all the Hop Series beers I’ve tasted: the bottles were probably quite old, best before of April/May 2015, so some of the hop characteristics might have already gone away. Nice orange color with big head (darkness varied a bit). Bitter from the beginning. Smells bitter, but not much more. Sweetness kicks in a bit later on the tongue. More or less a nice lager taste for being that old.

"mild noble hops present in the aroma and flavor. for being so low ibus it was very nice. a session ipa, smooth, obviously not overly bitter, but still had a presence, and was soft on the palate."

Found it in local Madrid beer shop. It’s true Mikkeller! The taste is unbelievable! The palate is not that good, but I can leave with it...

Okay so this bottle is 6 months ’out of date’ but... Decent spicy/herbal/raisin aroma waft - good head on it - strong caramel malt forward taste then the spicy/herbal/raisin tettnanger kicks in - good bitterness balances out the initial hit of very sweet malt - so it’s still pretty alive and vibrant enough to enjoy... although tettnanger isn’t high on my list as I prefer more citrus/tropical fruit driven hops and less heavy malt.

330ml bottle from Thistle News, Aberdeen. Hazy reddish amber brown, reasonable head. Grain resin hop aroma. Boiled sweet flavour and aftertaste. Interesting hop but not one of the best.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Cornelius. Murky amber body with yeast flecks floating around. Thick off-white head that holds well. Excellent lacing. Aroma of herbs, flowers and dried apricot. Flavour of lemony sorrel and dried fruit. Strong bitterness. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I think this hop would work better in darker beers, with it’s dried fruit characteristic.

bottle. Deep amber with one finger head. I’ve had quite a few of this series at this point. They’re obviously all very similar other than the hops. I’m quite unfamiliar with Tettnanger. This is particularly sweet with very mild bitterness. There’s a subtle pepperiness also.
