11.2oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a cloudy very dark orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma of light herbal and medium citrus. Taste is medium bitter. Herbal and citrus. Light bodied with a thin yet slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. There are other beers in this series that I like better but this ain’t bad.

33cl bottle from dranken Geers in Oostakker. Dark amber body with a nice of-white head. Aroma of bread. Nice resin and light caramel malt taste. *****

Quite strong aroma of pine and peach. Flavour are much the same, but I think this is maybe the best balanced obe in the bop series to Mikkeller. Maybe the best one of them all

Wow, one of the best examples ot a Tettnang beers I’ve ever had. That’s unusual for me as it’s usually one of my least fav hops. Poured with an enormous frothy, fluffy, sudsy, foamy, airy, off white head and lots of lace. Color is a clear medium amber with some bubble trails. Flavor is, to me, surprisingly balanced and on the mild side. Plenty of malt and, of course, the Tettnang to stand up to it. Plenty of bitterness, but not in extreme, not a lot of fruit, only hints (not a fan of the overly fruity hops) and some caramel, malt, chewy malt, a little toffee, bread dough, and cookies. Body is perfect for style and same for carbonation. Finish is like flavor and easy while tapering to a moderate length. Really good. too pricey for session but certainly of exceeding quality.

330mL bottle generously sent across the pond by stobbe74. The bottle pours copper with gold edges and a bit hazy when the yeasty sediment is involved. The hop laden liquid supports a near white sort of head. The aroma offers up moderate levels of spicy hops earthy hops and a light sense of both citrus and floral. The taste has yummy spicy notes rolling into mild citrus and earthiness. The rich hop notes come across very well and make me wish I had a big bottle of this stuff.

Orange pour. Very light aroma. More malt and biscuit aromas than hops. Flavor is light on the hops again, bready notes, light spice. Not bad at all!

Smooth soft bitterness. Hop more floral, softly toned. Blood orange, kumquat essences with some earthy pine and tea notes. Buttery mouthfeel. Noble hop varietal makes for a smooth refreshing not quite pale ipa.

I love beer. I know what I like and I like this one a lot. You’ll notice that I don’t throw around a lot of fancy terms when describing beer and wine. All I’ll say is that this one had a unique flavor and aroma, almost tangy. It didn’t taste like an IPA, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t good.

Hazy orange, orange aroma, too.
Sweet, mellow citrus flavour, pleasant drinking. Clementines. A tad too sweet, lacks a dry twist in the tail. But very pleasant sipping.
