3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. Deep hazy amber with small head. As usual, there’s the standard malty base for the Mikkeller single hop series. It’s maltier than I prefer, but in this context, it works very well. I find myself indifferent with Warrior hops. I prefer something with distinct citrus or pine (or both). There’s a pleasant hoppy bite, but the flavor is just a bit lacking.

Botella de 33 cl de 2d2dspuma tomada en mayo de 2013. Tonos muy suaves, hierbas, resinosos y pinos que se van diluyendo a medida que va calentando. Cuerpo medio. Bastante buena, para repetir sin duda.

Famously named after the Euros Childs tune, from the excellent ’Bore Da’ album (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfGnVmM1Bg4 the Warrior hop is much underrated for its aromatic properties, generally being used as a cheap bittering hop by the la(r)ger breweries. You know what though? It’s pretty good, in an orangey kinda way. WARRIOR!!!! WARRIOR!!!! (got it at Nina’s, Edinburgh)
