3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very hoppy aroma :) citrus smell, big foam, offwhite. Nice amber colour. The taste was a little downer when the aroma and apperance was so positive.

33cl bottle. brewed 2012-03-28, best before 2014-03-28. No batch info.
dark orange colour with a medium big white had that settled down fast.
Aroma is more balanced than the previos 3. Some tropical fruits of course, but not much. Flavour is mildly dry and well balanced, just as the Columbus. Notes of fruits and malts. Some caramel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange-amber in color with a bubbly white head. Hops really shine through on the nose. Seemed a little sweet for a beer designed to showcase a particular hop variety.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ The Ale House in Amesbury. Aroma has some caramel tones with an herbal hop subtleness. The flavor follows the nose with the herbal hops making me crave more as I drink it. Medium bitterness that kind of lingers around for a bit. Out of the two single hop drafts I had tonight, for me; THIS was more tasty.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with bro and P. Slightly hazy deep golden with a frothy white head. Dry, fruity, herbal hoppy. Sweet fruitiness with a herbal, grassy bitter and slightly citric finish. A little harsh and urefined compared to the better hops in this series.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Drank at home (Feb ’12) poured into a tulip style glass to a cloudy dark orange/amber colour with a good finger plus of frothy off-white head. There was yeast sediment present, bobbing up and down after pouring and during drinking.
I quite enjoyed the smell of this beer, citrus hops, sweet malts, caramel and butterscotch and a little honey hidden in the background.
Taste wise I was getting sweet malts, a subtle blend of burnt caramelised sugars and bitter tasting citrus fruit, nameley grapefruit and orange.
During drinking the head gave way fairly quickly leaving a small puddle on top of the beer at around 1/3rd of the way through with a little lacing present above the beer line.
This beer was a little over carbonated for my liking.
A decent enough beer .

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orangey amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, grapefruit zest, backed by caramel malt - some pepper notes as well. Flavour of tropical fruits, pineapple in particular, with citrus hops, grapefruit zest and some yeast. Some tree bark in there as well. Solid single hop rendition.
